Perception. Northern Illinois is the "name" team. Bowling Green has struggled in recent games since locking up a championship game birth. Northern Illinois has a nice solid winning streak. Some may also look at it as revenge for Bowling Green ruining Northern Illinois perfect record in 2013 Mac championship game too.

The big thing for me in this one is that it's a dome game at Detroit and that should help Northern Illinois run game out. I think Bowling Green will have trouble with run (especially if last few weeks are any indication). I feel Bowling Green peaked too soon and now the last few weeks have kind of been a letdown which will carryover into tonight's game. See Northern Illinois winning by 14-17 after they get up early and Bowling Green just rolls over (hopefully).
