I was curious to see if there was a trend for how a team responded the home game following a road trip of 3 or more. Long story short, not much lol.

Record is 23-23

Following a 3 game roadie: 11-13
Following a 4 game roadie: 11-6
Following a 5 game roadie: 1-2
Following a 6 game roadie: 0-2

I heard Mike Palm reference someone that was hot on teams coming off a long road trip.
Since I didn't catch the whole thing I started digging.

I have tried this with some success as well as not. Might depend if the returning team is coming off a successful road trip or a losing trip.

Also, where is the team in the standings and what is the situation of the team they will be playing in first game back.

Also how many time zones they traveled. Seems like going from east to west is easier for a team to adjust their internal clocks.
