  • Imavov’s technical striking and hometown advantage against Allen’s relentless grappling and big heart along with an impressive win streak. Allen will persist on the takedown where he will present certain sub risk for the Frenchman. Imavov could win if his TDD holds up since he should be able to win the striking battle. Either way, this fight goes long and probably the distance.
  • Moicano has looked nearly unstoppable last 6 fights and even Jalin Turner’s best shots couldn’t put him away. If he survives Saint-Denis' pace for two rounds, look for him to employ some his dominant grappling and eventually find an opening for a potential sub. I'm riding 2 dogs to finish out the card in old Paris.

Fight card delivered with some excellent performances. How the UFC didn't BONUS Renato "Money" Moicano is beyond me. He fought with a separated shoulder and dished out more damage than ever in round 1 and maybe the most damage in any one round ever. He did so much damage he basically took round 2 off and then the doctor stopped the fight based on damage from round 1 after round 2! WOW, and no bonus. That's fucked up!

Text book ground-n-pound. UFC needs more grapplers line Money, when sub isn't there, they transition immediately to vicious G-n-P, even Herb Dean wouldn't get time to warn this guy.

Performance Of The Night:Bonuses

Bryan Battle

It feels like only yesterday that Bryan Battle was winning The Ultimate Fighter, but his win over Kevin Jousset in Paris was his eighth UFC bout post-TUF, and his sixth win of those eight. And what a win! To the chagrin of the Accor Arena audience, who loudly voiced their dismay, Battle swarmed in for the TKO when he saw his Bordeaux-born opponent start to wobble. If the welterweight division has been sleeping on Battle, they should probably start paying attention.

Morgan Charrière

“The Last Pirate” has a fervent following that rivals most any fighter in the game, and performances like the one vs Gabriel Miranda tonight are a huge part of the reason why. The French national scored another huge win in the friendly confines of Accor Arena, putting Gabriel Miranda on his back just a few seconds into the second round. Now 2-1 in the UFC (with the one loss being a razor close split), Charrière continues to prove he’s a force to be reckoned with.

Fares Ziam

Fares Ziam’s first UFC finish was as beautifully precise as it was difficult to watch. “Smile Killer” did precisely that to fans of his opponent as he connected with a stunning knee to the jaw deep in the third round that flattened Matt Frevola. Ziam looked as sharp as he ever did inside the Octagon, and the adoring hometown crowd knew immediately their guy was getting a bonus.

Chris Duncan

Those who were seated for the first fight of the night at Accor Arena—and there we a lot—were treated to an immediate showcase by “The Problem” Chris Duncan, who sank in a deep guillotine choke on Bolaji Oki. It might have appeared that Oki escaped the choke, but in fact he was out cold, a fact that Duncan immediately pointed out from his back to end the contest. Perhaps when he retires one day, Duncan has a bright future in refereeing.

I'm not saying any of these guys didn't deserve the bunus, but come on, Money deserved way more than any of them. Plus he did it all as a +225 dog!
