Wow, another bad card. Haven't seen a good fight night in a while. I only see a few fights I have interest in, including the first.



I have been on a slide, losing 2 of the last 3 weeks, including my worst week of the year last week. Still, I'm doing well on the year.

• I think Peterson (8-2) can win the first fight with his wrestling and solid takedown game. He will need to close distance quickly to avoid Usman's length and superior striking. But once on the ground, I do see "The Train" controlling the action and either getting a late finish or easy decision.

This may be more interesting in the end...lol

Main Card​

• 3.76/2 Bill Algeo -188

• Algeo (18-8) has found a groove, staying active, going 4-2 in last 30 months. He got caught in his last fight, otherwise a solid run. Both guys will look to stand and strike with very different styles. Algeo likes to sit in the pocket bobbing and ducking and make it a brawl, while Choi would prefer to operate at distance. Algeo's cardio and recent activity should be enough. Always a chance, Choi catches him early with a big kick or something spinning. I wish I would have played earlier when it was -160.
• This will be it for me here tonight, just not interested in any other fight or fighter and no strong sides I favor, I do lean Lemos in the main, but Jandiroba is a beast on the ground and I keep expecting her to show better stand-up and this could be that spot.
