  • 3/1.46 Pogues/Abdelwahab o2½ -205
  • 3/1.26 Jasmine Jasudavicius -238

  • Pogues & over...TDD should be key for Jamal as long as he keeps it standing he will be in control. Even if Hambdy gets a takedown or 2 early, it likely will cost him too much effort leading to him fading as the fight goes.
  • Jasudavicius...odds a little surprising here, but Jasmine is on the way up, has good footwork and technical striking. She should prove quicker than Silva who hasn't won a fight since Feb 2023.
  • McKinney...Terrance will be looking for an early finish and so long as he doesn't get caught (Hadzovic carries good power) be should finish this one in round 1 or 2.

  • Ziam-Davis shoould be a banger. Davis has the power and will be looking to close distance and mail Fares with tight striking and clinch-work, while Ziam would prefer to maintain distance with a longer striking game. "Beast Boy" has been on the shelf almost a year but has won last 4 and is 11-2 overall with 9 finishes(4-1 UFC)
  • Pavlovich...Sergei has a definite advantage in reach and the likely advantage in power. Since the Overeem KO "Bigi Boy" is 5-5 while looking great and bad at times. Both fighter will look to move forward and control the center, so fireworks should go off early and often. I doubt this one sees the 2nd round.
  • Magomedov-Page will showcase two of the top strikers in the UFC, Page will be up a weight class at 185 and not entirely sure how well his power will translate. That and Page is sometimes not active enough and simply gets out-volumed. I do believe they will both be very focused and getting after it. I've never been overly impressed with "Shara Bullet", so I'' back Page as a jooucy dog this morning.
  • I do think Izzy has plenty left, even after losing 3 of his last 4. He looked good in all but the Strickland loss. Imavov while a huge prospect with tons of potential, may not quite be ready for the top guys, We stall see. But I expect the "Stylebender" to control distance for a likely decision.

Fight Of The Night: Vinicius Oliveira vs Said Nurmagomedov

Vinicius Oliveira and Said Nurmagomedov delivered an intense, action-packed bantamweight clash, pushing the pace for 15 thrilling minutes. Nurmagomedov's striking speed clashed with Oliveira's pressure early on, but as fatigue set in, the Brazilian turned to his grappling, dominating the final round. In the end, Oliveira secured his third straight hand raise in the UFC, marking the biggest win of his career and putting him on the cusp of the 135 rankings.

Performance : Nassourdine Imavov

Nassourdine Imavov has cemented his name as a serious middleweight contender.

Following a competitive opening round, he stunned Israel Adesanya in under a minute with a heavy jab that dropped the former champion before finishing him with multiple ground strikes. This dominant victory marks Imavov’s fourth straight win in a year, firmly placing him in the title conversation at 185 pounds.

Performance: Bogdan Grad

Bogdan Grad overcame early striking struggles in his UFC debut against Lucas Alexander but managed to find his way and dominate once the fight hit the mat. After weathering the storm, he secured a takedown, mounted Alexander, and unleashed relentless ground-and-pound for a stoppage win. The 29-year-old now boasts a four-fight streak, a 14-2 record, and 11 finishes.

My record could have been better, but considering I was robbed on Pogues and Rozenstruik/Pavlovich seemed too tentative to engage as expected...I won't beat myself up too bad on selection. The results should have been better though!
