I bet UTC/SHSU Under 74.5

With a total in the 70's you really pretty much have to have either a ton of pace from both sides or a ton of pace playing against a crummy defense that is just going to be playing from behind, breaking tendency etc. In this instance we get SHSU who does play with pace, they are fastest moving left in playoff group but they face UTC who if you translate their pace to an FBS opponent they would be the slowest moving team in the nation and they have a defense that would be considered above average if they played in the FBS, IMO. They are the second best defense Bama has seen all year, dominanting Bama in the trenches at times. They are extremely ground heavy and I have no doubt they are going to play ball control here and keep SHSU extremely potent offense on the sidelines. There is a 90%+ chance of rain for the game, 3 inches expected for the day.

Looks like a solid play to me, thanks for your thoughts. SHSU has also played a very poor SOS and despite that have appeared to be vulnerable on the ground. The combination of the elements and a tougher opponent in the trenches makes me believe this one will slow down.

I know it's not fcs, but thought it was worth posting. NW MO is -900/+500 in d2 to win a ring. I think north AL and California PA are capable of beating them so just wanted to put it out there. Seems a rather stout number even tho they are badasses.

The total has dropped all the way to 61.5 at 5dimes. I've never seen such a steep drop based on injury or weather before.
