Fade Tigers rest of Season

Jeffeo

Pretty much a regular
No heart or fight in this team. Great pitching performance yesterday by Fulmer, and still no hitting. During the game, Alan Tramell was interviewed and stated something everybody all ready knows, "We're going through a transition period right now." This might Verlander's last game as a Tiger today. It would not surprise me. Fade Tigers for rest of season. They have some issues. GL

Wonder if the Astros will come to their senses and take JV? Please complete the tear down.

Where to begin? We''ll start with Miggy and Martinez. .256 avgs. Gone are the days of clutch hits. IMO their off year is due to stuff happening abroad. Castellanos is brutal at third. Have not seen him play the line or dive for a ball yet. Iglesias still learning. Kinsler playing hard, but only batting .247. Blame it on umps. Upton having good year after getting sat earlier. Worth $20 million? Still a liability in field. Trade JD Martinez for what? Trade your best reliever in years, Wilson, for what? As the Tigers retool or transition, look at their manager. Can that guy get the most out of his players? IMO no. He has yet to demonstrate as a manager, that these guys have bought into his managing. Asmus has not gotten the best from his players. Too much of a player than a manager. It starts from the top. The guy in the dugout. Nice guys finish last.

Spot on about Ausmus and everything else.

As far as Wilson goes, you had to trade high there. He won't have as much value again, most likely.

With JD, love him despite his defensive liabilities but in order to sell/rebuild you cannot pay him 200+ million. That is what I mean by a total tear down. Now, we can question what they got in that trade all day for sure...

What a shame the window for a W.S. has closed. All the pitchers that have been thru the organization; Fister, Scherzer, Porcello to name a few...the list goes on. Nothing to show for these guys, especially Fister. They were contenders for a while. It will be a few years till they make it back to a top team.

Wilson being the best reliever in years is one of the most laughable things I have seen here in almost 10 years.
No offense
