His intention is obviously money......

off hand i would NOT take the points..... people are playing NC (line drop)which was 1-10 in D-II last year and lost by 30 points to crap teams every week......

combine with the punter thing, and they lost valuable recruits and transfers......they lost most of their secondary and 1,000 yard rusher.......

hawaii has a heated running back battle and hawaii's backup QB Graunke will tear these guys up as well.........

hawaii's defense is deep as well........

NC is a high school team.....make no doubt about it.......
 
Heard about this...the thing that will hurt Hawaii on this deal is it's such a recent player...

here comes the NCAA footsteps.
 
Big deal. If NCAA comes down hard on Hawaii over this it'll be unfortunate for them cuz this happens everywhere. I hear pot is the preferred vice of choice over alcohol for CFB players. Lets them just chill after a tough practice and no after effects the next day like some drinks would. I know there are plenty of pot-smokers on the UT team.

Yeah there is a drug testing system and nobody fails the tests but that doesn't mean much. Even if the NCAA tells the staff who to randomly test, those players are probably told you need to come in for a test in a few days. Ok, well that gives the player enough time to score some piss from someone else. I've heard stories about how Chris Simms smoked out a lot and he would just get freshmen players to piss for him and hide it in his jock. Not singling him out just a specific story I heard. Everyone knew Ced Benson was a pothead, I mean he wanted to be like his idol Ricky in every way. The point is, this is a non story that will probably get sensationalized.
 
HawaiiGuy ~ Best of luck this season. As every year, my Hawaii plays never get locked in without consulting your threads.
Thinking of flying back out to Reno in mid November for the Nev-Haw game. Week 10 is always pretty interesting, so being close to a brick & mortar sportsbook has always been part of our season that time of the year.
