outside looking in, i've always respected dusty...even though he can't manage a pitching staff. but in any case, if it makes reds fans happy today, it musta been time for him to go.

who's out there that you want as dusty's replacement?
you guys got a solid team on the rise. latos & cueto are fine #2s...and when robert stephenson comes along in a couple years, you'll have an ace in the making (he could be the next jose fernandez, btw)...and i love cingrani, who's between a 1 and a 2. (#2 stuff, but #1 pitchability.)
speaking of that...like the A's throwing Sonny Gray in game two...I woulda been very tempted to throw my 'best' in this stupid 1 game playoff thing. meaning i woulda prolly thrown out cingrani for 6+, and had aroldis ready early. all or nothing, and cueto's had too many health issues.
