Dr. Bob segment on new ESPN show

Quote from Dr. Bob at the end of the segment:

"There's always hot handicappers that come along, they have one great year and then they're losing . . . that just hasn't been my pattern."

I guess this must have been filmed about a month ago, haha.

It was interesting to hear why he really moved his release times...

because no games were on at 10 PAC and the casinos would just mysteriously go offline and back up fifteen mins later w/ adjusted lines...lol.

So the fact that his name was on ESPN a good thing . . . or a bad thing? For him and for us??

But for us, it means more people subscribe to his picks and more movement that we don't want?

On the other hand, he hasn't been doing so well lately so there's that too.

It was filmed during week 3. I checked that Toledo/Kansas game that they had and that was week 3. Pretty ironic that he started going down since.

TV Jynx. :D

I wasn't really impressed. Were I him I would have been happy with it, because it makes him look like some genius that has Vegas on the run, but what did it really do other than serve as an ad for the guy?

I also tend to think the less light they put on gambling the better. Just leave us alone.

i actually think its for the best that gambling with a real thought process gets out to the foreground. Too many people think that the only people who bet on sports are seedy individuals who hang out in dark rooms and chain smoke with no care for their health or others. I know that isn't the case with me, and I don't think it is with most people on this site, either.

Problem is, I'm not going to run around with a sign that says "After work I gamble on whatever sports are currently playing!!!"
