Does Luke Walton deserve any credit for Warriors undefeated start?

Why not. They are a very talented team and would probably have a winning record with anybody coaching them but going undefeated at 16-0 definitely deserves some credit. He's level headed, commands respect, and the players like him. Is he ready to be a head coach? Probably not. He'll learn a lot from Kerr and in the future he has a chance.

Love Kerr though. He's still there even though he's not on the sidelines...

Yes, he definitely deserves some credit for what he's done in Kerr's absence. The funny thing is that, per NBA rules, Steve Kerr still gets credit for the wins while he's out, and Walton officially gets zero wins as a HC (as he's considered an interim HC). Just a quirky rule they have in place. He could, conceivably, win coach of the month(s), even coach of the year (if Kerr was out all year, or a vast majority), and have zero wins next to his name...

Of course he does, shouldn't even be a question.

Will be the head coach of the Lakers at some stage.

If it's instead of Scott, please hire him right now... I wish Jack Nicholson would be hired instead of Scott at the moment. It will make it at least interesting and entertaining...

Scott is beyond terrible... Bring back Mike Brown!

As for Walton, he should be a good coach. Was very smart player. Learned a lot from Phil, obviously learned something from Kerr (and that means from Pop as well). He got to get some props for Warriors record imo...

Obviously he does. Major Plus that he can keep his basketball mind together when thinking about his dad comparing Grateful Dead songs to basketball plays.
