I like that the Panthers are getting points at home. I don't trust the Saints on the road outdoors. The Panthers have been pretty unpredictable though. The defense looked good against the Seahawks, but otherwise crappy all year. Hardy is the only guy missing from their front seven, from last year. Kind of surprising to see a drastic change with just one guy missing. Was thinking of teasing Carolina and the Over.
 
Hard to take N.O. on the road (stating the obvious), and public appears to be on Saints @ 70% clip. In their last 5 games since 2012 have been decided by 4, 18, 6, 8 and 28 points with Panthers winning last 2 @ home. I would pass this game, but its Thursday night and what else is there to do? Be interested in others' take.
 
Saints of course poor on the road, and every play I see made thats the only reason I'm seeing. Not that it isn't valid, they have obviously proven to suck away from home. But don't' know what there is to like about the Panthers. They are one of those teams I can never read, I just don't understand them. So if someone who is backing them tonight can give me something on why they like them, would like to hear it.

Panthers o-line health is something to look at here, they have a few guys on the injury report. Yes they have Deangelo back, is that really such a game changer? Don't think so, imo. Saints D is poor, and can be exploited, but I can't trust the Panthers to do it.

Saints O looked better last week. Ingram, I thought, looked really, really good. I was really impressed by him. I think he can have a big game tonight, this Panther run D is pretty bad. Ingram will just help the entire O and open up things. Can see Cooks with a big play or two against this D.

My lean is to the Saints tt over 26 (was 25.5 yest, but I missed it)…Did anyone see the Panther D last week? I didn't get to see the game. Obviously they had a good showing, so not sure if it was more of Carolina getting their shit together or more a product of the Seahawks just being a mess right now. Panthers in games past have given up a ton of points, not getting a pass rush going, etc…So if someone witnessed the Panther D last week, I would appreciate your take on their performance
 
Tough to back either team IMO. That division sucks and still up for grabs. Not one team has a winning record. Cant justify betting Saints as road favs! What have they done to be favored on the road?
If Saints D is that bad, Carolina should be able to put up decent drives. Again a tough game, but I'd take Carolina +3.5 if I play
 
Decided I'm going to pass. If I've had to think about it this much, and don't trust the Panthers enough - then it is not worth playing. Just like I should have passed on my Cowboys on Monday. Other than the whole Saints on the road thing, I don't have any other logical reasoning. Panthers have been pretty suspect. Like mentioned above, Panthers play last week probably had more to do with the Seahawks offense. Apparently, the Panthers are starting four undrafted offensive linemen tonight - one of which was picked up from the Rams practice squad.

I lean Saints but won't play after emotional sunday night game. Panthers are one of the bottom 20% of teams in the NFL; there defense is terrible this year and their offense is nothing to write home about either (can't run)

Maybe re evaluate at halftime, but I certainly wouldn't put my money on the Panthers. Probably wouldn't touch the under unless the wind is a big factor.

Would say the Panthers put more emotion into this past Sunday's game than the Saints, who pretty much did it easy in the 2nd half Sunday night (Brees didn't throw a single incompletion). Nawlins are in a good space heading into tonight. Ingram should feast.

Can't bet panthers...scared of NO but not as much as panthers...like shrutes play the best but can't pull the trigger....maybe ml parlay NO with a game in the baskets....gonna wait till half

I'm getting that Brees and the Saints are 17-7 SU and 13-11 ATS when lined the favorite on grass (avg line -4.6). When you narrow that down to between -3.5 and -1 (inclusive) you get 7-3 SU and 6-4 ATS (avg line -2.4) as the favorite on grass..
