Dennis Allen fired by Raiders

The Oakland Raiders have fired coach Dennis Allen, a league source confirmed to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Allen was 8-28 as Oakland's coach. He was fired after the Raiders, who retooled their roster this offseason, started 0-4....

Bout time. I said it in the in-game already but DA rode the coat tails of Peyton Manning. He didn't do anything special. He wasn't a leader, the players didn't respect him, and I was tired of seeing that same old shell shocked look on the sidelines every time they showed him. We're a bottom 3 franchise. Nothing is looking good. :hang:

They passed over McCoy for Allen, can't believe it. That being said, McCoy would have likely had struggles in Oak as well. SD was the perfect fit for him.

I don't think anyone would have really succeeded the past 2 years with how they had to gut the roster to get out of cap hell

But this year should have shown signs of improvement the talent is there and now any new coach is going to habe a top pick at the draft

Carr looks to be a qb to build around and mack has been great

I am hoping someone makes an offer for 1st overall to get mariota like what Washington did for rg3
