I think the line is relatively fair given it's his first game back and the Thunder haven't exactly been setting the world on fire during his absence - plus, the Pelicans haven't been dogged at home once this season (including a game against the Mavs). Personally, I'd have it at OKC -4.5 (which I think it might get to by tip off) but, then again, there's a reason why I'm not a linesmaker... : )

*Quasi hedge, maybe, but looks like Melo's gone over this number in most of his Knicks games vs. Lebron (looks like 10-5 including playoffs, but I scanned the numbers pretty quick, so don't quote me on it), so considering he takes about 23% of the Knicks total shots, he should stand a pretty good chance. Of course, the way my current downturn is going, he could get tossed in the first quarter, go out with an injury, shoot 0-20 or, worst case scenario, score 25 in a low scoring Knicks win... : )

*Thanks guys - as much as I'd love to try and attribute this to the usual suspects (bad run, bad luck, etc...), truth is there's just been a fundamental breakdown in the way I've been handicapping games as of late because, honestly, I'm not even close on some of these. Think my spreadsheets are fine - it's just that final process of evaluating the data and making sense of it that seems to have failed me big time as of late. And as far as money management goes, ok, that's always going to be an issue for the majority of us but let's face it: at average odds of -110, I'm right about where I should be anyways.
