Couldn't have worked out much better for me tonight. Now I'll try to not give it all back on Sunday!

I was there last night and here all weekend. Hamlin had a fast car, so did Blaney. Chase looked good as well. Dale Jr ran well, but it's easier running up front. I would like to see how he does in some traffic. Kyle Busch didn't change tires and ran fast too.

My picks to win Sunday are

Hamlin +1000
Kyle Busch +1200
R. Blaney (Longshot) +5000
Chase Elliott + 1800
Harvick +1200

Thx Cole and Capt.

Cole that is a good looking card. You summed up both races pretty good. I agree about JR, it was late when he got in traffic it was hard to tell how he'll do when he isn't leading.
I don't have anything for Sunday yet, like all of yours and you have some good odds.
I'll be looking to play mcmurray, bowyer and A. Dillon in some matchups if the odds are right.
Penske boys ran pretty good as well. Logano came from the back a couple of times
The way they raced yesterday I don't think people will lay back

Just realized I spelled Daytona wrong in the title of the thread. I hope that is not a bad omen.:hang::rofl:

X race
to w
A Dillon 4 = 26
E sadler 4 = 33

Just a little something to give me someone to cheer for.

I really have no idea what is going to happen. Gun to my head, I would pick Kez, but I have a hard time betting anyone at under 3 to 1 in a restrictor plate race.

Good luck to all.:cheers3:

well pretty happy with my two picks. Of course AD wrecked Sadler, which didn't work well with my plan.
Sadler won the first and second segment.
would have never picked reed. on to tomorrow

Ok. Way too many bets today, absolutely got carried away.

On the matchups you can
probably tell I don’t think Suarez or Jones will do well.
I’m a fan of Newman, so you would be smart to fade thosebets.

In general, I think Bowyer does well today and thisyear.
I also think Patrick might win arace (as long as that Nature Bakeries stuff doesn’t distract the team).I not really a fan of Patrick, but she has good equipment and she is a pretty good racer. She wrecks too much IMO.She hasdone ok on restrictor plate racing. I’m probably totally wrong, but feel like Truex might struggle some today and all year long.I think he will be good this year, but not as strong as last year.

Asyou can tell I think Chase, A. Dillon and McMurray run well today. On the top 3& 5 hoping to win one of the three in each.

JR is a basically a break even pick only.I would actually win 50 cents!

Can only hope my guys don’t get got up in whatever wrecks are sure to happen.

Good luck to all. Should be interesting. :cheers3:

Also, there is certainly a ton of guys I don't have that can win today. With 2 of the 3 gibbs cars that I don't have and both Penske cars at the top of that list. But I hope not!:prayer

The funny thing is they always say anybody can win (and it's true) at Daytona, but if you look at the numbers 53% of winners still come from the top 5 and 78% come from the top 10. Compare that to Atlanta, 55% from the top 5 and 78% from the top!

Just added Kurt Busch 5 = 140.
That now makes a JR win a loser for me! But only $4.5. I'll pay $4.5 for the excitement of having a rooting interest. Losing that would certainly be better then none of my guys winning.:NoNo:

Just realized I forgot to post my group plays. I want to put them to help with my record keeping:

Kurt B 15 = 36 & Larson 15 = 36.75 (over Suarez & E Jones) (can obviously only win one of these)

Boy I got lucky with that late Kurt Busch bet.
The groupbets and the top 3 & 5 didn't work out to good.
The matchups ended upreally strong.
Overall a real good day.
I thought the racing was good. Not surewhat McMurray was thinking at the start of the 3rd segment. He caused those 2wrecks IMO.
Truex was strong so I could be very wrong about him having a letdown after last year.
On to HotAtlanta!
