Curling.........

Pretty much a regular
Anyone have curling at your sportsbook? If so and the Brier is offered then the UNDER is 22-4 so far......the draws are at 10:40, 3:10 and 8:10 eastern time. They've dropped the totals from 13.5 to 13 at Pinny but the odds are better. Not sure how long the trend continues but I thought I'd through it out there.......

Good Luck!!

I've been playing the under in all 4 games per draw. There were also some really good odds on Alberta and Ontario to win the Brier when the odds came up.

Here's an update....Curling unders are now 28-5-1 at the Brier after 9 draws.......Pinny has dropped some totals down to 12.5 and using that number as a benchmark unders would still be 22-12...

Good job Hockey Puck!! I haven't wagered unders across the board every draw but the ones I have taken have been money.....

For anyone looking for previous scores up to this point go to tsn.ca and then curling....

Nakina,

I only started betting all the unders after draw 3. I've also been betting on Alberta, Ontario and Manitoba (paying the heavy juice) when they're playing all other teams. Only been burnt once and it was Manitoba losing to PEI. NFLD are playing well now. I"ll back them vs. the lesser teams.

Good Luck.

Good stuff Hockey Puck. I tried the under in the Alberta/PEI game this afternoon......Kevin has had most teams quitting early and I'm hoping that's the case here as well. As you mentioned PEI did beat Manitoba who are 4-1 so we'll see how competitive they will be. (As per the website it will be the TV featured match as well)

Interestingly enough, Alberta's only over was when Sask refused to quit (and Martin wasn't really happy about it) and went on to lose 11-3.......PEI does play in the 8pm draw tonight so if it gets a bit one sided I believe they will shake hands.....

Good luck!!

Wow, Alberta cracks a 5 in the first end. Let's hope for a few blank ends and Alberta steals of 1 since they have to play 6 ends in the round robin before they can quit. I have the under and Alberta -2.5

GL.

Looks like Alberta came through for ya but the under didn't.......that first end didn't help at all (I had it as well).........Pinny has 12.5 across the board now so I tried the Quebec - Ontario game to go over for the 3pm draw........Good luck Hockey Puck, I haven't checked the morning scores but it looks like the 3pm draw had 3 overs and the 8pm draw last night was 2-2....

2-1-1 this morning with the unders. The BC/NS line was 13. Slight losing morning on Ontario and Manitoba not covering but got a win with BC at + money.

Not sure if you're still around Hockey Puck but it's time for the Men's World Championships starting today.........I just looked back to last year and found using 12.5 as a benchmark for the totals then there was 32 overs and 34 unders....

I'm guessing Canada will be looking to get Japan to shake hands early making the under 12 a possibility......

any thoughts?

Going with Canada -4.5 -122 for 1 unit against Japan. I honestly believe this Kevin Martin team has seen better competition all season than tonight's match up and should cover this.......

Looking to pick my spots as it seems a little harder this time around. Like the total under in the Norway-Canada game at 12.5 -131. The two top teams thus far and I think we'll see a competitive game with a few blanked ends. Norway played earlier today and had a low scoring (3-2) affair with the Swiss.

Norway-Canada under 12.5 -131 for 1 unit.

Winner, but the game didn't play out as I figured. Canada dominated a Norway team that's played well so far. 9-2 Final as the two teams shook hands after the 7th end.

Nakina,

Definitely a little harder than the Brier. I haven't been playing too many totals. Mainly taking Canada on the spread and I have a large bet on Canada to win it all. From what I've seen, nobody is going to touch them.

Took Canada -2.5 -170 over the US this afternoon. Lot of juice but I don't think it'll be close. The problems with the ice seem to be fixed and that means Martin will play agressively until he gets a big lead.

Playoffs........

I like the USA at +158 this morning despite losing to Norway in one of the earlier draws 7-5. The States won 4 of their last 5 including stealing 4 in the last end yesterday to beat France 9-6 and make these playoffs. After getting off to a good start, Norway finished 3-3 in their last 6 games and will be facing a US team that played with their "backs to the wall" yesterday. +1.5 (-123) is an option as well but I'll take to US to win outright here.

I also like the under the the game between Germany and Switzerland (12.5 -101) despite the 10-9 game these two played in draw 2 or 3. The Swiss played a low scoring style in their last 7 games (9, 11, 7, 11, 5, 11, 11) all going under. The Germans come in with 6 of their last 7 going under 12.5 but a number of these games were right around the 12 number........still like the under at -101.

USA +158

Germany/ Swiss under 12.5 -101 both for 1 unit.

Good Luck!!
