is there a set tiebreaker for next week since we've picked the same both weeks?

maybe ... after your selection, post how many total runs your selection will score for the 3 day series?

Well hopefully you don't pick the same for the third time in a row, but yes...let's put some tiebreakers in place for it now.

1. Choose your team for series (like normal)
2. Choose total runs YOUR TEAM will score in that series (closest to that # will win)
3. Choose a total run differential (plus or minus) for your team for that 3 game series.

So, if you choose Indians it should be:

Indians
Total runs in series: 15
Run differential: +4

I've been out of the country without internet and thought this was the last few weeks of the season. Very cool =/

I would love to be given some sort of opportunity to compete in some way, but I assume that's not possible at this point

You can go 3-0 in this last week and hope they both go 0-3 for a three way tie (pending the tiebreakers).

You're not officially eliminated yet.

Obviously I understand if nobody wants to allow me a real chance to compete, even if given a forced 1 loss penalty or something along those lines, just in the spirit of competition. But if the prizes are more important and I missed the deadlines, then I will accept that and the DQ. (Clearly me going 3-0 and them both picking the easiest matchup of the slate and going 0-3 is never happening)

That's up to them.

Understand you lost track of the contest dates or whatever but I have to imagine they're going to want to go for the win as this isn't your everyday $100 free play at a sportsbook contest. Some legit money and MLB tickets at stake...but we'll see.

Final week's thread will be opened tomorrow morning for picks, and as always, you can PM me your picks too.

Yeah, I assume they'll take the money and run, although I would certainly be willing to take a smaller prize if I were allowed to participate with a penalty and managed to come back to win. Maybe they're into the actual competition, obviously I wish I knew the dates as I would have given someone my login to play for me while I was gone.

Either way, appreciate the contest. Was a blast while I got to play!

Problem with that is you aren't eliminated yet.

Them giving you any kind of slack is a potential double whammy. Even if the odds aren't in your favor, you aren't eliminated from winning the grand prize so that's a tough spot.

I didn't get to compete in any way, if they let me play and pick 3 teams and either play straight up or incur a penalty, that would be great. Otherwise I will take the DQ and let them battle it out.

Pick a team for this week, it isn't impossible that teams get swept by any means......either way we can't allow you go picking back or more this week as there is no stipulation in the rules for out of the country endeavors and honestly if you were that concerned about it you would have taken some action before leaving even just picking your teams and sending to the admin for each week, which could have been done. That being said you say "if you knew the dates" but the dates have been posted since before the contest launched. You forgot, it sucks, you did win money risk free for winning your period but now you're only chance would be if you went 3-0. I don't want someone to lose out by being nice and some craziness happens when you didn't follow the rules. Sorry bud, either go for 3-0 or not at all.
