If there are any discrepancies, please let me know and we'll get it fixed. There shouldn't be any issues, but you never know...

Lines to follow in the next post.

I'm not sure why the LVH lines are not on vegasinsider, but as of right now they are not up (they are the only book not up, but the do have CFB lines up from LVH). I found another site to get LVH lines from, but it says Caeser's/Hilton, so I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning and see if they show up at vegasinsider. I would like to stay consistent and use the lines from the same place each week, but if they aren't up by a reasonable time tomorrow, I will post the lines from the other site that say Caeser's/Hilton.

Sorry guys, one quick thing that wasn't addressed before this started as far as 2 team teasers go. Many books grade the teaser as a push if one of the 2 bets in the teaser pushes...I would like to do the same thing. Does anyone object to this and want it to be graded as a loss if one of the 2 bets pushes? It hasn't happened yet, so we're not changing the outcome of any graded teasers, but I forgot to bring this up last week.

Again, I would like to grade 2 team teasers with one of the 2 bets that pushes as a push. Can I get some feedback please? Thanks!

The same with a 3 teamer ...2 wins 1 push?

Im Ok with that

Also I assume ties reduce on a parlay with win & push?

I would agree Lareux, a 2 team parlay or teaser that has a win and a push should be pushes/no bets, while a 3 team parlay or teaser that has two wins and a push should drop down to a winning two teamer bet.

I agree with the 3 team parlay getting knocked down, but a 3 team teaser that has a push is always a loss....no? I have never seen a 3 team teaser that gets knocked down to a 2 teamer with a push when it's a 10 point teaser. I very well may be wrong though, I've just never seen it.

I also thought that a 2 team parlay that has a push is knocked down to 80% of the bet if the other team in the parlay wins. We can keep it simple and just make it a one team bet for the full amount though, if everyone is okay with that. Up to you guys....let's get some input. Should a 2 team parlay that has a push and a win become a straight bet at 100% of the amount risked or should it be 80% of the amount risked, or should it just be considered a push and that's that?

I think standard parlay push / win @ .909090 would be fair ( bet amount / 110 vig )

But Im ok however you guys go....Ill be bankrupt by week 4 anyway:crying:

Cool. That's what I was thinking for the parlays (I said 80%, but the same concept of paying it out for less). As far as 3 team teasers go though, if there is a push it's going to be a loss for the teaser...unless a majority of the entrants feel it should lower the teaser to a 2 teamer...I've never seen that though, it's always a loss in a 3 team 10 pt teaser as far as I know.

I have an excel spreadsheet setup for this. If anyone is interested in checking it out, shoot me a PM and I can email it to you. There are formulas for each type of play that automatically figures out the money won/lost, so it's pretty user friendly. Outside of me putting in the plays and the dollar amounts, I just put a W or an L, and everything is calculated for me.

OK 5 dimes rules have a 2 team parlay with a push knocked down to a straight bet @ -110.

Rules differ on teasers but on a 3 teamed 10 points I'm fine with a push being a loss. 2 teamer 6 points should w/ a tie should be no action/refund.

Agree with 3 teamer push = loss

If it was 6 pt teaser paying odds then it reducing to 2 team payout would make sense, but given your setup the win win push 10 point teaser should be graded a loss ( eagles game now lands on 45 ...24-21 maybe )

This is what we will go with. The only one you're missing is the 3 team parlay, which, with a push, will be knocked down to a 2 teamer.

So we are all clear on these....

A 2 team teaser with a push will be graded as a push.

A 3 team teaser with a push will be graded as a loss.

A 2 team parlay with a push will be graded as a win at the bet amount / 1.1 (or x .909, either way it's the same thing). If you put $100 on a 2 team parlay and one of them pushes, you would win $91.

Finally, a 3 team parlay with a push will be graded as a winning 2 team parlay (2.6 to 1).

Thanks for the input guys, I hope these are all satisfactory to everyone involved.

Egg, your 2 team parlay would pay $1040 as opposed to $960. You may have used 2.4 instead of 2.6. And you're definitely not Asian.:)

1 question about a rule that I don't think has been settled.

I think you have a minimum of two bets a week which makes sense to keep people from "coasting" if they have the lead in the contest.

What is the penalty if they do not meet the two play minimum?

I would suggest a 5% of their bank roll penalty for every play they fall short.

IE they have $11,000...and make no plays....

Come Tuesday morning they are penalized $1100... 2 plays @ 5% of $11, 000 )

My assumption was that the failure to meet the two-play rule would result in a disqualification from the contest.

I forgot about submitting my plays for this weekend until yesterday at halftime of the 1PM games and I logged in to play a couple of late games to avoid even being in this predicament.

You make a valid point though - the answer to your question has not been made known.

in my opinion disqualification's a little strong .

I can understand it in a suicide pool because 1 loss and you're out.

theoretical money management suggests no more than 5 percent of your bankroll and I'm sure since all of us are not degenerates we stick to that hard and fast rule so that's why I suggested it

I agree with you after thinking about it.

I said I assumed disqualification - not saying I am in favor it
