Louisville -17 (3u) vs Rutgers
Rutgers has allowed over 450 yds passing per game against Fresno (5-0) and SMU (1-4). The Cards are far better in the passing game than those two opponents and should have an easier time against Rutgers this season as the Knights have lost all but four(4) starters on defense from a year ago. The Knights have been victimized badly with the loss of defensive players and it shows in the two games mentioned. Lower level opponents are the only reason that Rutgers is 4-1 on the season, but should get stopped by a stronger defense that the Cards have this seson with 10 returning defensive starters on the field.
Note" The Knights are injury riddled and the Cards are completely healthy for this match up.
SDSU -3.5 (1u) vs Air Force. Tailin Shark on this one.
USC -5 (1u) vs Arizona
Battle tested with some scars but still at 3-2, gives the edge to the Trojans. USC should find scoring easier than what they faced against Wash State. Zona has faced one decent team (WASH) and tallied only 318 yards of total offense with 199 rushing and only 119 passing. Its hard to catch up with an average ground game on the road.
