College/Pro Offense

In transit, arriving late.
This has been bugging me all day and it all goes together in a way:

Mississippi St lined up on 4th and 1 in the shotgun. Now, they went for it most everytime but also looked like they were trying to draw the defense offside. I think LSU did it too…and I think it worked actually. You would NEVER see this in the NFL.

RPO in college. Many run it. Variations of at least. It works.
Direct snaps. Remember when the Dolphins(I think) implemented this as the main offense?
Pistol, etc.
The NO Saints have a really good defense built for the “NFL”….an Eagles team with Jalen Hurts just KILLS them with an RPO offense. ATL with fuxkin Mariota gave them issues last week.
The GOAT has had trouble vs Saints since arrival at TB…it’s a more “NFL” pro type offense though.
I know I stayed local for examples but how many times is Mahomes under center vs the gun? Which NFL QB has most % out of shotgun?
I know I’m rambling..

Point being….why isn’t the RPO more used in the NFL/do list see it going this way?
The old adage was “NFL too fast etc etc”
I know we see more shotgun in NFL today but it’s just wild to me..

One word. Discipline. Pros are there because they play assignment football at a professional level. Just my opinion.
