No offense to Phil, but I bet 90% of college football fans could have gotten at minimum 8 of the 10

Dumbest poll concept ever. Think about it...you're going to head coaches who legit focus on their own team and then on a week by week basis 12 separate teams. THERE MAY BE NOBODY THAT SEES LESS OF THE ENTIRE LANDSCAPE THAN THE HEAD COACHES. WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT OF THIS POLL?

My favorite story from the Coaches Poll and just how little these coaches care, is back when Chip was at Oregon, somebody in the Coaches Poll voted Oregon State 13th in the country, who I believe was like 2-4 at the time. Apparently, the coach handed the slip to fill out over to someone in the Athletic Department to fill out and they put Oregon State accidentally instead of Oregon. LMAO...awesome work, fellas.

Here's my favorite section to look at...it's the other teams that got Top 25 votes...

So Nebraska is favored to win the B1G West, but Northwestern is a Top 25 team? Really? Other's getting Top 25 votes from coaches...

West Virginia's win total is at 5 -20 to the under...
Ole Miss win total is at 5 -40 to the under....
Duke's win total is 5.5

These guys don't have a clue. Start your first poll the 4th week of September, actually get a feel for who may be good and who is overrated or has had a huge injury.

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3-25. does it really matter?
