CFP First Round What Have We Learned

ohio will go as Howard goes. He made some great reads and outstanding throws on Saturday. If (big if) he plays to (near that) level going forward ohio will win it all.

Playing on favorites live during the game who trail has done well. I think there have been 5 and you could've gone 5-0 if you played on all of them at the right time ATS and 4 out of 5 won straight up.

South Alabama got behind by 7 and then early 2Q 10 - nothing. They won the game by 7.

UNLV trailed 0-3 and 7-10, but won by 11.

JMU was behind 7-14, but won 27-17.

Ga Southern was a small fav and trailed by 14 then 11 at HT. I did not watch any of this game, but did blindly live bet Ga Southern +10 and +10.5 about mid-game. They lost by 5 (I see only right now that they scored a TD with :09 left so that was lucky).

Clemson led 7-0. I don't know at what point exactly I took the bet, but Texas was -6.5 or ML -188 at one particular point. Texas won by 14

Good stuff @s--k

Merry Christmas sir.

Looks like Indiana played the closest game. Too bad there is a home field advantage in post season.

I'd argue SMU was closer to being competitive than Indiana ever was. It's ok, Indiana deserved their spot based on the the criteria, but there's no serious person who thinks they are one of the 20 best teams in the country. Bear Bryant was quoted as saying to win championships, you needed injury luck and schedule luck. Indiana had the second one for sure. Great season that should be celebrated

Not sure about that. Both games had about the same spread and Indiana was a few plays away from actually covering. The games were totally different and I was shocked how bad IU played most of the game. Let me remind everyone, (I'm not an IU fan) but got on their bandwagon midseason when tickets were cashing and know some fans that give me decent info.

What I mean was, SMU was doing things and threw 2 pick 6s. Indiana was outmatched from the opening whistle and scored 2 TDs in the last 90 seconds to make it look better than it was. I don't know why people are shocked that Indiana and SMU played worse when they played good teams. That's what happens

I've got no answer for IU playing like bums. Very disappointing. Had they got up 7-0 after the early interception it's a way different game. Instead, a turnover right back and a back breaking 98 yd TD. Did anyone else see a blatant flag missed on the play? ND lineman gets away with holding (grabbing and shoving a guy from behind).

Had Indiana not squandered the early red zone opportunity, that game is totally different

They were blown out man, scoring two garbage-time touchdowns against backups. Pretty sure you're just going to make any excuse or spin things in whatever way to suit your preconceived notions.
Holy cow man, Indiana played the closest first round game. Neutral site or warmer conditions, who knows?

For real? ND got every break possible and at home. Sure, ND deserved to win but home field might be a problem.

Gimme your thought's on Michigan vs Bama!
I might, did you watch it?

Also I'm a fucking Iowa State fan so don't get me caught up in your web of dumbfuckery, I have my own issues with the ESPN/SEC conglomerate. You are the poster child for why I can side with the SEC fans rarely.

I think the lowest of dregs latch on to a conference because they have no team. But you do have a team. But even worse, you tried to deny it which is laughable. I do not pull for big12 teams. They recruit against us. It makes no sense. Maybe it's self-redeeming that the teams you recruit against and can't be can still beat other teams from other regions of the country, but that's sad. Cool, you're a tag-a-long. Does nothing remarkable but needs the attention.

Not me. Fuck that. I'll pull for teams when I know someone who's a fan and I actually pull for their enjoyment. That's pretty much the extent.

So, tell me, did you watch Michigan/Bama from the beginning?

I understand more now exactly what was happening here and why. At the end of the day, not a big deal at all. Seems like Beamer way overreacted
