Too early for me but I had Pitt as a possible play. As always, wish you good luck.

  • CHIP KELLYC, UCLA BRUINS

UCLA held a players-only meeting on Sunday.
The Bruins are off to an 0-2 start and sit at an uncomfortable 0-6 in August and September games under Chip Kelly over the past two seasons. Sunday's meeting was spearheaded by CB Darnay Holmes. Explained CB Jay Shaw, "People start listening to outside noise," cornerback Jay Shaw said, "so if you don’t, like, get that togetherness, you never know what the man next to you is thinking or what he’s reading." While it's heartening to see Kelly's crew attempt to keep the locker room ship afloat, the timing of this meeting is not the most conducive to sparking a winning streak -- UCLA will play host to Oklahoma on Saturday.

  • BRANDON WIMBUSHQB, UCF KNIGHTS

UCF QB coach Jeff Lebby said that redshirt senior QB Brandon Wimbush (undisclosed) will play in Saturday's game against Stanford.
Wimbush (6'2"/222) was scratched for this past weekend's game against FAU due to an undisclosed injury concern, with Dillon Gabriel starting in his place versus the Owls. UCF is currently in a fascinating place with its quarterbacks, as in addition to Wimbush and Gabriel, Darriel Mack has been medically cleared this week after breaking his ankle in July. Our best guess would be that Wimbush starts against Stanford on Saturday, but all three quarterbacks could potentially see work in the contest. This is a quarterbacks room to be closely monitored as the season progresses. Lots of different ways HC Josh Heupel could play things, here.

  • BRYCE THOMPSONDB, TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS

Tennessee sophomore CB Bryce Thompson (off-field) has been reinstated to the team.
Thompson (5'11/181) was hit with an indefinite suspension near the end of preseason camp after he was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic assault. While that case has not yet reached a resolution -- the sophomore is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 23 -- Thompson was back practicing with the team on Wednesday following his reinstatement. Just when the corner might see his first game action of the season is not currently known. Last year, Thompson garnered Freshman All-American honors on the heels of a 34-tackle, three-interception campaign.

  • JASHAUN CORBINRB, TEXAS A&M AGGIES

Texas A&M sophomore RB Jashaun Corbin (hamstring) tweeted out that he underwent successful surgery on Wednesday.
Corbin (6'2/210) sustained a season-ending hamstring injury during Saturday's loss to Clemson. With the sophomore down for the count until 2020, the Aggies will give four-star frosh Isaiah Spiller a whirl at starter. Jacob Kibodi, Cordarrian Richardson and Deneric Prince are three other candidates who could potentially see increased workloads now that Corbin has been lost for the campaign. The Aggies will be able to play around with their various running back options this coming weekend in what should be a drama-free date with Lamar before they host to Auburn on Sept. 21.

  • MARKUS BAILEYLB, PURDUE BOILERMAKERS

Purdue redshirt senior LB Markus Bailey is expected to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury in practice.
Per Boilermakers HC Jeff Brohm, Bailey injured his knee without contact near the end of Tuesday's practice. The redshirt senior will be undergoing surgery in the coming days, after swelling has gone down. This is not the first time the 6-foot-1, 240-pound Bailey has had to undergo season-ending knee surgery, as he was also put down by a knee injury early on during the 2015 season. His loss stings, as Bailey is coming off a strong season, posting 115 tackles (9.0 for loss), 6.5 sacks and an interception last fall. He could potentially apply for a sixth year of eligibility, though it's possible that he opts instead to call it a day with college in order to declare for the NFL Draft. As for Purdue's next move, look for Cornel Jones to step in as starter in place of Bailey.

  • ZANDER NEUVILLETE, WISCONSIN BADGERS
    https://www.rotoworld.com/college-football/nfl-draft/player/37813/zander-neuville
Wisconsin redshirt senior TE Zander Neuville has medically retired.
Neuville (6'5/252) was awarded a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA in August after sustaining season-ending knee injuries during both the 2017 and 2018 campaigns. While he was medically cleared for work near the end of preseason camp, he had yet to see the field this season. In his retirement announcement on social media, he referenced being beset by "another injury." Neuville ends his Wisconsin career having caught 10 passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns. While it's always tough for a team to lose a veteran leader, tangibly, the Badgers should be fine on the field, with the tight ends room being led by Jake Ferguson.

  • DEVON WILLIAMSWR, USC TROJANS

USC redshirt freshman WR Devon Williams has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Transfer portal action has largely calmed as the summer has wound down, but you can expect to see things heat back up by degrees in the coming weeks, as depth chart placements begin to cement and odd-men-out become more obvious. Williams (6'4/210) signed on with USC as a four-star recruit in the 2018 class but has been unable to make a true dent in the receiving corp. He saw just 10 snaps against Stanford on Saturday. Assuming he does, ultimately, opt to go through with a transfer, he will finish his USC career having logged a 5-98-1 receiving line.

  • MIKE GUNDYC, OKLAHOMA STATE COWBOYS

Legendary Oklahoma State booster and financier T. Boone Pickens has passed away at age 91.
Pickens donated $525 million to Oklahoma State (some on the academic side, some on the athletic side) during his lifetime. His memory will live on with his namesake stadium in Stillwater. All told, Pickens, the so-called Oracle of Oil, donated over $1 billion to philanthropic and educational endeavors during his lifetime. Said Alan White, a close friend, "Boone was always going some place where there was no path. He left trails all of his life. Many of us had the good fortune of being able to follow along with him."

  • B.J. FOSTERDB, TEXAS LONGHORNS

Texas sophomore S B.J. Foster is expected to miss multiple weeks due to what HC Tom Herman termed a "significant" hamstring injury.
Foster (6'2/210) injured his hamstring late in the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss to LSU. It's unknown at this early juncture just how long the sophomore will be down for the count. In his absence, look for Chris Brown, Josh Thompson and DeMarvion Overshown to potentially see heavier rotational work upcoming. Texas will have an easy one against Rice this coming weekend before they start into Big 12 play against Oklahoma State in Week 4.

  • WALKER LITTLET, STANFORD CARDINAL

Stanford junior T Walker Little will undergo season-ending knee surgery.
Little (6'7/313) initially injured his knee in a Week 1 win over Northwestern. Stanford HC David Shaw had said in the days after that contest that the junior tackle might be out until midseason, but that prognosis is now taking on a darker shade. With Little -- an all-conference performer and a potential top-10 selection for the draft -- out for the remainder of the fall, Stanford will turn to true freshman Walter Rouse.

  • K.J. COSTELLOQB, STANFORD CARDINAL

Stanford HC David Shaw said that redshirt junior QB K.J. Costello (head) will be a "full go" for Saturday's game against UCF.
Costello (6'5/222) injured his head in the opener against Northwestern and subsequently sat out this past weekend's loss to USC, ceding the start to Davis Mills. We'll continue to monitor the redshirt junior's progress over the remainder of the practice week -- head injuries can have a tendency to linger -- but at this early juncture, it would appear that Costello will try to give it a go on Saturday.

Great info Tim. FYI, I know it isn't your injury report, but Harry Trotter does still play for Kansas State, he scored a TD last week. I'm sure it is difficult for services to keep their reports accurate in this day and age of the transfer portal.

Thanks guys, sorry wasn't around Sat as I went to Bama/SC game. Bad week overall unfortunately. GL in Week 4.
