Hi Bull - I don't know that much about Richmond but did read that Lauletta is starting at QB and Broadus is suspended. Also apparently Richmond has their best running back returning and two 1000 yd receivers. Not sure if their qb play will drop off from last year? Anyway, MD is starting Perry Hills which really surprised me that he was able to win the qb competition between Rowe (out with ACL last year and maybe still not 100% but a better passer imo) and the transfer Daxx Garman from Ok St. Hills had a good camp and impressed the coaches with his knowledge of the offense and progression of reads during camp. He appears to have gained a lot of confidence, but we will see. I would expect to see either or both Rowe and Garman to play at some point this year. Brandon Ross has outdistanced Wes Brown for the starting RB position and the OL has picked up some much needed good recruits and have a lot more experience this year so I see an improvement there. WR corps is pretty solid with Etta-Tawo and the Jacobs brothers but did lose Diggs and D. Long so maybe a notch down this year. My biggest concern is their front 7 on defense. Terps are switching back to the 4-3 this year and have a new D coordinator Keith Dudzinski who used to coach at UMass with Whipple and Don Brown. The interior down lineman really lack experience and while we have some good pass rushers Ngakoue and Braglio the run stoppers are very inexperienced as is the LB corps which really is almost brand new and lacks game experience. The strongest aspect of the D is the secondary which was ravaged with injuries last year losing two starting corners early in the year. W. Likely is an excellent corner and return man on special teams, and one of the best players on the team. Hill and Hendy are experienced corners and Nixon and Davis are solid at safety. This should be a good unit but the bad news I fear is that they may have to be making too many tackles in run support. I'm not a big Edsall fan but the recruiting does seem to be improving and if he can somehow get past this year without a really poor year he may have a chance to get the program going in a more positive direction the next couple years moving forward. I don't expect this to be a very good team this year though.

Hills looks terrible today imo...no arm strength whatsoever. This game should be a huge rout and MD fucking around in the passing game missing plays...

He really is good. Mistake on ydg only 233 but I believe a Big 10 record for punt return ydg.

Not sure there are many people I have seen on the forums that just win as consistently as you seem to. Thankful to have you posting in places I visit. Have a great year, just as you had a great week 1.

Thanks Blood, I was very pleased with Coker in Wk 1 thought he looked good and I liked the play calling.

Kyle thanks for the kind words, wish you the best on the season and look forward to discussing the games with you.
