Cfb running backs minus 6

CANT COMPLAIN

Pretty much a regular
According to top running backs coaching , backs generally have to get 6 yds to get to line of scrimmage.Should rb's be credited for yds the accumulate where they are in possession of ball? just asking (since the introduction of the new offense in cfs, the rb is about the only pos. where the are 6yds in the red at the start of play) qb's excluded

the same reason you don't get 6 points for running the ball into your own end-zone ...

Is there a CTG award for dumbest question of the year?

All these stats are kept as a net relation to the line of scrimmage, not how far they actually run. Same reason running backs don't get credit for the lateral yards they run.
