This is from Arizona Kids contest and I like it:

Wanted to do a typical 6 man NCAA Tourney draft with the twist being we draft before the season starts. Snake draft 16 teams each and was hoping to draft this when we are all available...this is $100 pool and we pay winner at end of tournament.

Scoring is 1 point for every team that makes the NCAA Tourney and 1 point for every win in the tourney (Champion therefore worth 7 points). First 4 game losers do not earn any points. There will be no limitations regarding conferences meaning you can choose all power conference squads if you want or sprinkle in some mid-majors/small conference teams. Tiebreaker #1 being who selects the most teams that make the tourney with tiebreaker #2 being who drafts the team that advances farthest. Tiebreaker #3 if it looks like it will be needed will be Total points scored in the 2 Final 4 games combined when they roll around.

If this is on Sunday afternoon or Monday night I would be the 6th if you want that many.

Might as well add a sixth with Kid. I'm down for whatever you all want to do, although I would vote to draft 16 teams instead of 20 since we're rolling deep. Sunday works for me
 
I have one concern, It's pretty top heavy with a strong top 2 then several teams after that very similar. With 4 guys drafting it comes back pretty quickly to the last guy picking but with 6 people has anybody considered that maybe we don't snake for round 3 ? That way the guy picking 6th gets picks 6,7, and 13 versus 6,7 and 18.

Seems to me that without that the people that draw the top 2 picks gain a massive advantage....anyone else see what I'm trying to articulate ?

i don't think i have an answer to this, but we should probably settle it before we do the randomizer just in case

Snake first 2, then repeat the 2nd round order for round 3, then return to a snake format....just my opinion but with 6 people picking those first 2 picks got an unfair advantage imo getting top 2 picks and 3 of the first 13-14 picks.
