Nah as baseball and sumo are king with golf gaining a lot of momentum. Actually went to a Big Japan Wrestling Saturday afternoon show and had a blast though.

With regard to the coaching search…I talk to a few guys in a what’s app group and the names we are hearing with consistency are the same ones floating out there across the various sites. I see a lot of others coming up but these are the three that pretty much confirmed contact has been made, as we all know there are ways to do that even when a coach is still in action. I am currently in favor of Sumrall as option 1 and Schumann as 1a.

Others like Matt Campbell, Jamey chadwell, Jeff monken, Ryan silverfield, Barry Odom etc are often mentioned but I don’t think are in the first tier in terms of contact at the moment.

Sumrall will be high on a lot of lists, I'd imagine. One theory I've heard is that UK will jettison Stoops after this weekend and call Sumrall home to get out of the most coach-friendly contract in sports.

Yeah, I graduated in 95 so I was there live for the first time which makes it a little different for me. Definitely hoped for a happier ending to this one but as we all know, most of the time, real life doesn’t give us those Hollywood endings we hope for…

Hopefully we hit a home run with the coaching search and he brings in a bunch of his guys both to play on the field and on the sidelines, as it gets painful "knowing" every time it happens that we aren't gonna be able to hold on when the other team gets the ball late with a chance to win...All I ask is for some toughness both on the field and on the sidelines, as our guys play too soft in my opinion and struggle with the basics like proper tackling and coverage. Hey, a guy can dream right...
