well first round leaders Tommy Fleetwood, Eddie Pepperell and my man "WALL-E" Matt Wallace all [-5]. TIGHT tourney, though with five more @ [-4] and a dozen @ [-3]

CRAZY that the two of the pre-tourney favorites Justin Rose @ [+2] and "The Mole" @ [+1]

well as GOOD as playing conditions are in Kuala Lumpur they were that TOUGH in Surray, England Friday. watching the tourney the afternoon bank had it better because although the WIND was 20 gusting to 30 MPH in the morning it was COLD too. that didn't stop Eddie Pepperell for shooting a [-3] for tourney [-8] early and a three shot lead over Matt Wallace [even] and the Frenchman Julien Guerrier [-3] for [-5] thru #15 tied 2nd. Jordan L Smith in the afternoon bank shot [-3] for [-4] and solo 4th then last weeks winner Lucas Bjerregaard with the low round of the day [-5] for tourney [-3] tied 5th with Ross Fisher [even] Sam Horsfield [-2] Andy Sullivan [even] and Julien Suri [-1]

"Edgy" was lucky he did injure himself on one of his late holes hitting a shot out of the heavy heather rough. swung SO hard that his club actually flew out of his hands and he was holding his right arm after. something to watch the rest of of the way

play was suspended late with a few players yet to finish so NO official CUT yet BUT [+2] is tied for 43rd while [+3] tied 61st. the fresh off their Ryder Cup win "top guns" just HORRID with first round tied for the lead Tommy Fleetwood [+5] for [even] "The Mole" [+1] for [+2] Justin Rose [even] for [+2] and Thorbjorn Olesen [+4] for [+5]. ALL my "cats & dogs" WAY back this week

AND my tourney match plays STILL a "dumpster fire" after the 2nd round. the only GOOD thing is it looks like my three all MADE the cut so still have a chance IF they can shoot two rounds on the weekend

1-2 for me in tourney match plays. I guess BOTH "The Mole" [+5] AND "Cocker Tommy" Fleetwood [-2] with a Ryder Cup hangover this week. so much for the "Moliwood" team
