BC JUVENILE TURF
Friday - Race 6
#8 AIROFORCE - Was monstrous winning the Bourbon here at Keeneland racing 4 wide into first turn and 3 wide the rest of the race before pulling away. Best sheet number in field.
#12 CAMELOT KITTEN - After a terrible start in last, closed from 14th to 2nd here at Keeneland and looks like a very nice horse with good breeding.
#4 SHOGUN - Ships in from Ireland and adds lasix and blinkers. Improved in last going long and has a shot at winning this.
#13 CYMRIC - Flew home for 2nd overseas against a very tough foe and has very strong sheet numbers. Post is a big detriment.
#1 DRESSED IN HERMES - Drew very well. Won his last after horrible trip and could be very sneaky here.
#14 HIT IT A BOMB - Has good numbers and adds lasix. Horrible post and 3rd race in 33 days could make it tough.
BC DIRT MILE
Friday - Race 7
#3 LIAM'S MAP - Will be heavy, heavy favorite singled on most multi-race exotics. Could have run competitively in tomorrow's Classic. 5 win and 2 2nds in 7 career races. Great early speed. Strong sheet numbers and will be tough to beat.
#2 BRADESTER - The one horse in field who on his best, can fire a sheet number that competes with Liam. He is also a speed ball and if he can rate right behind Liam, he's got a puncher's chance. Nicely rested.
#5 LEA - Classy veteran who has a shot especially if the pace is hotly contested early. Missed almost a year after giant figure in last year's Donn Handicap.
#1 RED VINE - Improved after switching from grass. Doesn't look as fast as a few others but could be ready for a good one.
#10 VALID - Very fast horse with second tier trainer who draws terribly for this race.
#8 WICKED STRONG - Consistent check earner but not a big winner. Not as fast as a few in here but could hit bottom of ticket.
BC JUVENILE FILLY TURF
Friday - Race 8
#7 SAPPHIRE KITTEN - Strongly improved figure and effort in second start and could continue to improve here.
#8 HARMONIZE - Won her last in the G3 Jessamine with a horrible trip after getting shuffled to 12th. Strong sheet number and does have good early speed to find good position.
#3 ALICE SPRINGS - Comes in from Ireland adding lasix off a win. Solid figures and should take a step forward.
#4 CATCH A GLIMPSE - Comes in off a win where she earned best Beyer Figure in field of 91. Good early speed to work out nice trip.
#9 NEMORALIA - Used the G1 Frizette as a good prep finishing 2nd in first US race. Showed talent overseas and first time she has run with lasix on turf.
#10 ILLUMINATE - Probably the fastest of all the Europeans. Drew poorly and has never been further than 6 furlongs and is NOT using lasix. Inclined to user her just as saver.
BC DISTAFF
Friday - Race 9
#12 GOT LUCKY - Didn't draw well but probably best closer in race full of early speed. Has won here before and has 6 1sts and 6 2nds in 18 races. Good sheet numbers.
#1 I'M A CHATTERBOX - Improving 3 year old and gets slight weight break. Draws very well here and I expect a very good effort.
#2 FRIVOLOUS - Getting no respect here and is a live longshot. Went off at 4-1in Spinster against many in here and finished 4th and now is 30-1. Needs to save ground and stick to rail early but has been improving and has a shot on her best.
#7 WEDDING TOAST - Very solid sheet numbers and should be on lead. Has won 3 in a row and is likely favorite. Didn't like the fact she bore out in last and her one race at Keeneland was a clunker.
#14 SHEER DRAMA - Had she drawn better, she would've been one of my top choices. Very solid figures but has had a lot of easier trips than she will get today.
#9 STELLAR WIND - Favored earlier this year in the Kentucky Oaks where she was forced 9 wide and closed from 12th to 4th. Would need her best here but has an outside chance.
