BC JUVENILE TURF
Friday - Race 6

#8 AIROFORCE - Was monstrous winning the Bourbon here at Keeneland racing 4 wide into first turn and 3 wide the rest of the race before pulling away. Best sheet number in field.
#12 CAMELOT KITTEN - After a terrible start in last, closed from 14th to 2nd here at Keeneland and looks like a very nice horse with good breeding.
#4 SHOGUN - Ships in from Ireland and adds lasix and blinkers. Improved in last going long and has a shot at winning this.
#13 CYMRIC - Flew home for 2nd overseas against a very tough foe and has very strong sheet numbers. Post is a big detriment.
#1 DRESSED IN HERMES - Drew very well. Won his last after horrible trip and could be very sneaky here.
#14 HIT IT A BOMB - Has good numbers and adds lasix. Horrible post and 3rd race in 33 days could make it tough.

BC DIRT MILE
Friday - Race 7

#3 LIAM'S MAP - Will be heavy, heavy favorite singled on most multi-race exotics. Could have run competitively in tomorrow's Classic. 5 win and 2 2nds in 7 career races. Great early speed. Strong sheet numbers and will be tough to beat.
#2 BRADESTER - The one horse in field who on his best, can fire a sheet number that competes with Liam. He is also a speed ball and if he can rate right behind Liam, he's got a puncher's chance. Nicely rested.
#5 LEA - Classy veteran who has a shot especially if the pace is hotly contested early. Missed almost a year after giant figure in last year's Donn Handicap.
#1 RED VINE - Improved after switching from grass. Doesn't look as fast as a few others but could be ready for a good one.
#10 VALID - Very fast horse with second tier trainer who draws terribly for this race.
#8 WICKED STRONG - Consistent check earner but not a big winner. Not as fast as a few in here but could hit bottom of ticket.

BC JUVENILE FILLY TURF
Friday - Race 8

#7 SAPPHIRE KITTEN - Strongly improved figure and effort in second start and could continue to improve here.
#8 HARMONIZE - Won her last in the G3 Jessamine with a horrible trip after getting shuffled to 12th. Strong sheet number and does have good early speed to find good position.
#3 ALICE SPRINGS - Comes in from Ireland adding lasix off a win. Solid figures and should take a step forward.
#4 CATCH A GLIMPSE - Comes in off a win where she earned best Beyer Figure in field of 91. Good early speed to work out nice trip.
#9 NEMORALIA - Used the G1 Frizette as a good prep finishing 2nd in first US race. Showed talent overseas and first time she has run with lasix on turf.
#10 ILLUMINATE - Probably the fastest of all the Europeans. Drew poorly and has never been further than 6 furlongs and is NOT using lasix. Inclined to user her just as saver.

BC DISTAFF
Friday - Race 9

#12 GOT LUCKY - Didn't draw well but probably best closer in race full of early speed. Has won here before and has 6 1sts and 6 2nds in 18 races. Good sheet numbers.
#1 I'M A CHATTERBOX - Improving 3 year old and gets slight weight break. Draws very well here and I expect a very good effort.
#2 FRIVOLOUS - Getting no respect here and is a live longshot. Went off at 4-1in Spinster against many in here and finished 4th and now is 30-1. Needs to save ground and stick to rail early but has been improving and has a shot on her best.
#7 WEDDING TOAST - Very solid sheet numbers and should be on lead. Has won 3 in a row and is likely favorite. Didn't like the fact she bore out in last and her one race at Keeneland was a clunker.
#14 SHEER DRAMA - Had she drawn better, she would've been one of my top choices. Very solid figures but has had a lot of easier trips than she will get today.
#9 STELLAR WIND - Favored earlier this year in the Kentucky Oaks where she was forced 9 wide and closed from 12th to 4th. Would need her best here but has an outside chance.

JUVENILE FILLIES
Saturday - Race 3

#10 SONGBIRD - His sheet number is so much faster than everyone else's that if he runs his race, he can take a timeout for a hot dog break around the far turn and still win. However, he does have a bad post draw so he isn't a mortal lock. Still, anything close to running his race and the rest are running for 2nd.
#1 LAND OVER SEA - Drew very well and has improved in each of her 4 races and her last around two turns (like today) was impressive.
#7 NICKNAME - Has improved in her 2nd and 3rd start and was solid around two turns.
#9 - RACHEL'S VALENTINA - Taking a stand against the 2nd choice. Suspicious time off and bad draw.

TURF SPRINT
Saturday - Race 4

#1 PURE SENSATION - Light raced. Only 3rd race of year and both races were impressive figures. Should fire fresh with the good draw for Clement.
#14 MONGOLIAN SATURDAY - Poor draw but has good early speed to get a decent spot. Very consistent and strong numbers although this is 10th race of year.
#7 GREEN MASK - Strong numbers but missed solid time earlier this yer and this is 2nd race back. Will be closing at end but may be too far back to win. Outside shot.
#5 LADY SHIPMAN - Gets a weight advantage from the older boys and has solid sheet numbers to compete.
#3 UNDRAFTED - Solid past performances but may be a slight notch below a few of the ones I like.

BC FILLY & MARE SPRINT
Saturday - Race 5

#6 STONETASTIC - Last race on September 15th, she ran the fastest sheet number of ANY horse this year. It was against competition must cheaper than these but she ran off the screen and won by almost 16. She won a G2 Stakes at Saratoga last year with an excellent number too. She's no lock and could bounce and there's other early speed here but tough to ignore what she is capable of.
#3 TARIS - Won a G2 here at Keeneland lat year with an outstanding figure that could win this. Ignore last where he was hung 4 wide in a vicious speed duel. Has won 5 of 8 career races and 2 for 3 at this distance. Her last workout was outstanding; the fastest of 85 horses at 5 furlongs that day.
#13 MERRY MEADOW - In 29 races, she has 9 wins and 10 seconds. She's a bit erratic but usually comes back strongly off her weaker efforts. Training well.
#5 ARTEMIS AGROTERA - Not typically a horse I'd use. Hasn't raced in a YEAR in this exact same race. Won the G1 Ballerina at Saratoga last year and on her best, she has a shot here. Only horse to beat La Verdad twice.
#4 LA VERDAD - Tough to ignore 16 wins in 22 races. Won her last using new tactics of coming from off the pace, however, that race was just 7 days ago. She is also more of a 6 furlong specialist and has never won at today's distance or outside of New York.
#11 JUDY THE BEAUTY - Horse has hit the board in 20 of 21 career races but I think she is slightly slower than a few in year and doesn't look as powerful as she was last year.
#14 CAVORTING - The morning line favorite is not without a chance but tough for me to use in here. Improving nicely and last 3 are solid. Tough post and would have to run a much better figure than she ever has before.

Thanks GH! On my way to keeneland right now, I'll be checking in. You playing all races or just a few?

BC FILLY & MARE TURF
Saturday - Race 6

#8 DACITA - Impressive Chilean horse who has won 7 of 10 including debut in US where she beat a strong horse in Tepin, who we will see later today. Horse is improving and goes for strong Brown/Castellano connection. He is improving and I expect a big effort.
#11 STEPHANIE'S KITTEN - Needs a good trip and didn't draw well but gives Chad Brown a powerful 1-2 punch in here. 10 wins in 24 starts and improves when the turf isn't totally firm. Will be closing strong at end.
#3 LEGATISSIMO - Heavy ML favorite. 3 year old gets a break on weights here but sheet numbers are not as fast as some others in here. However, she adds lasix today which could help her fire her best shot.
#2 SENTIERO ITALIA - Another 3 year old getting a break in weight. Steadily improving but is prone to wide trips. Her last was strong and over this course but was just 3 weeks ago.
#12 SECRET GESTURE - Her two best efforts have been here in the US and she was decent in this race last year. Her racing style fits this race well.

BC SPRINT
Saturday - Race 7

#7 HOLY BOSS - Tailed off the last two (I can ignore last in slop) but has some solid sheet numbers and there could be a crazy early speed duel that sets up nicely for him. Two back, i was there and liked him, but he was forced 4 wide into the turn. dropped back and came back for 3rd. Gets a slight break in weight as a 3 year old. Very intriguing at nice odds.
#13 PRIVATE ZONE - Was there for his last and this speedball has put up some eye catching figures winning his last two. On best, he wins this but there is a lot of early speed in here and he has to be sent hard from post 13.
#10 SALUTOS AMIGOS - On his best, he fires some of the best sheet numbers you will find for a sprinter but those races have come at Aqueduct. Still tough to ignore this horse's abilities.
#6 IVAN FALLUNOVALOT - Horse is getting ignored but in 5 of his last 6 races he has 3 digit Beyers. Gets Calvin Bo"rail"who can give him a rail hugging, ground saving trip. Interesting longshot.
#5 RUNHAPPY - Last two were outstanding but his sheet numbers would need to improve again here and I expect a bounce backwards.

BC MILE
Saturday - Race 8

#8 OBVIOUSLY - Speedball got burned up in a hot pace in this ace last year. Have a feeling his connections geared him up for this race now. Has some outstanding back numbers and if he can throttle his early speed, they can all watch his tail waving from behind the whole way.
#3 MAKE BELIEVE - Improved dramatically in G1 win in France in last. Andre Fabre is a sharp trainer and his late decision to send this 3 year old over means he's ready. Gets slight break in weights.
#1 GRAND ARCH - Could get a cozy trip here behind Obviously. Has some decent figures and last win came from the inside on a rail that was dead that day.
#6 TOURIST - Was super sharp on last in the G1 Shadwell. Broke from difficult post #11 and got off poorly. Should use his speed more effectively today.
#7 TEPIN - Filly takes on th eboys against a slight break in weights. Five straight three digit Beyers and strong sheet numbers make her a legit contender.

BC JUVENILE
Saturday - Race 9

#9 EXAGGERATOR - Very similar pattern to Texas Red who was a hero on BC Day last year. Same trainer. Looked strong stretching out over this track in last when he was overtaken by Brody's Cause but should get a better trip here. Working well.
#7 BRODY'S CAUSE - Will have to overcome traffic from far back but was quite impressive winning the G1 Breeders Futurity. Gets the red hot Lanerie aboard.
#6 RATED R SUPERSTAR - Four solid starts and seems to like the distance. Has early speed but also showed he can perform well with a ground saving trip. Who better to have aboard than Calvin Borel.
#1 CONQUEST BIG E - Two strong efforts in his two races including a win over this track and hard fought 2nd against Brody's Cause. Has taken heavy pari-mutuel money in his two starts and now is 30-1 ML.

BC TURF
Saturday - Race 10

#1 GOLDEN HORN - Draws extremely well and tough to ignore 7 wins in 8 career races overseas and over $6 million earned. If he runs his best, it's over. However, his sheet numbers aren't monstrous. Strong favorite but no lock.
#10 THE PIZZA MAN - How can you not like the name? Has strong early speed to find a nice early spot. 15 wins in 24 career races. Horse has tremendous heart, has won in big fields before and at 15-1 ML, has big value.
#7 BIG BLUE KITTEN - Tough to ignore 10 straight three digit Beyers. 14 wins in 29 races and $2.6 million in bank. Likes to save ground and has a shot with a good trip.
#11 RED RIFLE - Some erratic but on his best, he can fire with these. Last was a real clunker but he has a puncher's chance.
#6 TWILIGHT ECLIPSE - Has been solid for several years and usually fires a solid effort but has been short lately on the win end. Easily could hit ticket.

BC CLASSIC
Saturday - Race 11

#1 TONALIST - This horse has never fired a bad one in his 14 race career. He always runs his race. I think he will be in the mix upfront earlier today. Last year in the Classic, he had just too much to do from Post 11. Has best chance to beat AP.
#4 AMERICAN PHAROAH - Chances to win increased with scratch of Beholder who i thought had no chance but would push the early pace. If AP gets an easy and coasting lead, he will be tough to beat. While he is everyone's darling, his sheet numbers are no better than several in here and he has had a long and taxing 2015 campaign.
#9 HONOR CODE - Erratic horse with some ailments but on his best, he can easily win this. Will be closing from far back but I'm not sure the early splits will be all too fast to set it up for him.
#3 FROSTED - Best sheet numbers aren't far off and he can work out a decent trip here.
#2 KEEN ICE - Continues to improve race after race but I think the win in the Travers over AP may take something out of him. Another one who needs a decent early pace upfront to close into. Not sold he will do it here.
