Could be the first real chance to see Brady Quinn with starters-against-starters in MoTown Saturday. DA is out with a concussion.

I like the +2.5 right now and will put it in the book. If this guy gets to play the first half its a good bet. Im in. A rare pre-season bet for me.

I don't know about others that watched the MNF massacre but I saw Quinn who played scared. I say that because he was lobbing passes into receivers, double guessing his mistakes.....

I know that he isn't going to look like Peyton manning out there by checking down coverages and looking off DB's but I would of felt much better about him having playing expierence if he played off his instincts and wasn't too concerned with getting interceptions by throwing too hard.

Some may say that is all the arm strength he has but I really do not believe so....He knows whats on the line and I would like to see more natural decison making out of him.

Also, does anyone know if this game will be nationally televised by any chance?

No It starts at 4:00 eastern and as far as I know its local only...

When I went to their practice a couple weeks ago (I know it was just a practice) Quinn is the one that looked like he threw and played with confidence. I'm not sure either is the "answer" to the position but I think I want to see BQ out there more than DA this year. Just IMO. Not sure it will happen of course

Yea, I agree with you steed. I am kind of anxious to see what this late first rounder is made of....But I guess only time will tell. Although on the flip side DA and Braylon Edwards have such a great chemistry and work together really well, it would really be a shame to have to rebuild that.

i was looking at bet jamacia and it appears as if NFL network may be carrying it. I say that because you know how sometimes the sportsbook will put the network carrying the game next to or around the scheduled time of the event. I know this isn't national television for everyone but for select viewers I imagine it is.:cheers:

Browns played completely out-of-sync. Quinn was stopped by penalties and a good pass rush by Detroit. Although, he wasnt sharp at all and looked nothing like last year.

Quinn did have a few good passes, but it was visible that they are not flowing on offense. Lions keyed on the pass rush without Jamal Lewis playing and that made all the difference.

Defensively, the Browns were very good in the red zone with the starters in there.

Bad bet on a pre-season game... (Should have watched and not bet this one).
