edited the title. hope that was ok, jump.

should we edit everything, by team, into the first post? like once a day maybe?
just think it would be easier to keep track of things, compared to searching throughout a thread that'll become multiple pages long in the near future.

went ahead and started it. if it's not ok, or not what you had in mind, please feel free to delete &/or change what i edited.

Yes :shake:

mack and his bff jamail are denying the rumors. question is, will they let mack coach the bowl game when he leaves?

K-State starting Safety and All American Ty Zimmeran, broke his leg against TCU, expects to play in BWW bowl v Michigan.

if someone puts any updates from the last couple days into a post, i'll copy/paste it into the first post. (it's 4:30am, and i'm not up to it lol.)

Coaching Changes

Is there a list out there that has the teams playing in bowls who will have HC or Coordinator changes?

If not...can we make one?

Boise
Washington
USC
Ball St

Who else?

Good idea. And probably specify the changes that were made.

Ball St was O coordinator change
notre Dame D coordinator change

texas - Mack brown will coach bowl game

There is a thread that's stickied on this page
for coaching changes. Believe its third from the top. Just an fyi

question cause I know nothing about CFB but why do most coaching changes happen before a bowl game? Why don't they not coach the game and then leave?

Arky State hired a new head coach, but he won't start until after the Mobile Bowl (comes in from Fedora's UNC staff, was the OC there).

The Injuns defensive coordinator, John Thompson, will serve as interim coach against the mighty Testiculars.

Backup RB Alvin Kamara and DE/LB Xzavier Dickson suspended for sugar bowl. Kamara's no big deal, and wouldn't be surprised if he isn't on the team in the spring. Dickson not a huge loss, but he's talented and played a good bit

sorry, i haven't been able to do anything. tons of relevant updates...mostly not included here yet. :(

if someone has the time for a synopsis of everything in one post, i can copy/paste it into the 1st post. otherwise, it just is what it is...

@BTNTomDienhart: Per Michigan State email, Max Bullough has been suspended for the remainder of the season for a violation of team rules.

@BTNTomDienhart: Per Michigan State email, Max Bullough has been suspended for the remainder of the season for a violation of team rules.

LOS ANGELES — Michigan State senior middle linebacker and team captain Max Bullough has been suspended for the Rose Bowl, according to a school released issued late Wednesday night.
Spartans coach Mark Dantonio, whose No. 4-ranked Spartans (12-1) reported to Los Angeles for the start of Rose Bowl preparations on Wednesday, issued a statement on Bullough's suspension:
"Max Bullough has been suspended for the remainder of the season for a violation of team rules. It is extremely disappointing for all parties involved. We will stay focused and close ranks as we prepare for Stanford on January 1 in the Rose Bowl. Max will forever remain a Spartan and valued member in this team’s achievements.
“We will have no further comment on this issue.”
Bullough has started at middle linebacker for Michigan State the past three seasons and has been considered the heart and soul of the Spartans' No. 1-ranked defense, making the calls and adjustments from his position while also providing leadership off the field with impassioned team speeches.
Michigan State senior Kyler Elsworth is listed as Bullough's back-up at the middle linebacker position, though Elsworth has played precious few snaps this season.
There is no record of Bullough having been recently arrested in Michigan, and it's not known if he has or will join the team in Los Angeles during the bowl trip.
The Spartans play No. 5-ranked Stanford (11-2) in Michigan State's first Rose Bowl appearance since 1988.
Bullough, a third-generation Spartans' player, ranks third on the team with 76 tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss.
But it's Bullough's brain as much as his brawn that will be missed.
Coined "The Computer" during an ESPN special on the Spartans' No. 1-ranked defense earlier this season, Bullough has been responsible for keeping Michigan State's defensive players aligned and making checks and audibles in response to offensive shifts.
Bullough is a two-time academic All-Big Ten selection and was part of the 2013 National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Class.
Dantonio flew to New York for a Dec. 10 banquet where Bullough, a finance major with a 3.56 GPA, was honored along with 15 others selected from a nationwide pool of 171 student athletes.
Bullough has been displayed front and center at each of Michigan State's two media opportunities since the Spartans' 34-24 victory over Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis on Dec. 7.
On both occasions, Bullough spoke passionately about the personal mission he has been on at Michigan State to help improve the image of the program.
