Boston Red Sox Tonight.....

T-Rex

Pretty much a regular
I know Boston has basically been a big pile of dogshit for betting, but can someone, anyone, talk me off them tnite??? Haha. Those are some big odds to lay obviously, but they are due to win, winning only 1 of their last 9, going against a bottom feeding team with Sparkman on the mound who has like an 7.5-8 road era. Please.... help me, haha

Muggy night in the bean , ball should take flight with our #1 pitcher going...why not, keep an eye on the t storms

The opposing team has won 9 of the L10 against them scoring 4,5,6,6,6,7,8,9,9,9 runs per game. I wouldn't fuck them with your dick until they started putting some wins together. "Don't bet against a losing streak to end" - that's some old-school wagering advice for you.

The over has hit 76% of the time in their L25 wins. And Eduardo Rodriguez has received the most run support of any starter in baseball. If you think they gonna end the losing streak just bet the over instead and save paying all that square-ass juice. (by the way I'm not an old-school-type dude, I just heard advice before, and also have to wish you the best of luck in your decision, sincerely) $$$

Good post.

Agreed, very good post and very smart, logical. Enough so to sway me when i needed it, haha. I opted to go against betting Boston straight, thankfully so far. However, I did roll the over and it looks like that is shit too, but like you said..... at least i saved the crazy juice

Just curious, how did you find or use an old quote of mine to quote and post in this thread?

Why do you think the Red Sox still continue to utilize Eovaldi, like in situations where they are actually winning in general, let alone with tight leads? Guy blows and has an ERA of 7. I mean wtf

it is a mystery

team is awful, relative to expectations

How is that RL graded? Is it considered a no bet?
Yah, on my end, only ML bets are good if the game is called early. Since this game is “suspended” no bets really apply and I believe all made are a “no action”, which in this case, was perfectly fine with me!!!! Haha

Do you have a snapshot that can prove this? I use a local for most bets via text. Old school. And we're seeing conflicting stuff.

I mean I can show you the rules that I have found. Not sure if that is going to help you. My bookie set up a website and that’s how the rules are written. Games have to finish in the same day/continuously. Suspension makes bets no action. Someone in the thread for today, 8/8, put it best when they said how can you count any of the bets when the game technically isn’t over? Gotta agree with that

Which bet could have possibly been graded for this game? It was a tie score and the game was suspended so there wasn’t an outcome as far as the total goes. If it wasn’t a tie game I could understand the discrepancies, but in a tie game it seems obvious.

RL bets on Boston were losses

RL bets on KC were winners

ML plays were void

Unders were winners

Overs were losses.

Game completed the 8.5/9 inning rule.... that is why...

Very rare for a tie game in extras to be suspended....

Hence the confusion on many peoples parts...

Almost every sportsbook adheres to the same rules. I'd be pissed if I had the over though, no doubt.

  • All baseball props must go the full 9 (8, if the Home Team is Winning) innings unless otherwise stated. They also must start the listed pitchers.
  • In the rare occurrence that a baseball games goes at least the full 9 innings and finishes tied as a result of a suspension of play, all money line bets are pushed, but all run line and total bets will have action.
