WEEK #8: 5-3
SEASON: 20-13-2
Last week was in every game with the 3 losers of Bucs -1 (OT), Chargers team total over 19.5 (19) & Falcons -3. Moving on,
Panthers -3 -115. PUSH This is a selection much like I had last week with Chiefs @ Colts. Panthers are capable of thumping the Rams, who are coming off a bye & Panthers next @ KC. Panthers looked great agst Cards and can see a similar effort in the Rams game. Case Keenum is a good guy & a serviceable QB, but his weakness as a starter started to show in last 2 efforts. Cam in full whine mode regarding getting hit & that worries me some going into Rams who are likely to try & get Superman to whine even more. I can see Panthers stopping Rams from getting anything going on offense. The total is listed as 45 and I have Panthers winning 27-16, 28-13 or so. Laying the -3
UNDER 52 Saints @ SF. LOSER SF is bad and NO playing outdoors on the west coast. NO defense has improved effort last week and hoping for a slower paced game after Saints get a lead. SF might be able to slow NO offense down some too. I had the total at 47-48. Riding the under one more week in NO game (it's now up to 52.5...last week I had under 48 & it moved to 50 but still covered the under...hopefully this week the same) (worst selection all year, could not have been more wrong)
Broncos @ Pick'Em LOSER This is just a straight up line play. I'll take Broncos @ even (well, it's Thur afternoon & I'm seeing Broncos +1.5, but 69% of tickets on Broncos...if that's accurate the sharps are on Raiders :enraged
Eagles TT OVER 20.5 WINNER
PACKERS -7 LOSER
WEEK #9: 1-3-1:dirty: ez to say now, but as weekend approached I did not like card & tried to keep things to a minimum. Looking back although it was over @ halftime, the UNDER in N.O./SF was not as bad as it seemed. Think like 10-13 pts scored in 2d half. The Packers & Broncos were dead wrong. The Panthers was ok selection, took a last play 4th down and goal from around 9 yd line for Rams to get a TD to push. The Eagles (my only win) actually took a long time to cover, but was the right side. Sorry.
