should be an interesting series. it's a re-run of the the 1970 "second six" expansion St Louis Blues vs the "original six" Boston Bruins where the Bruins swept the Blues in four with the famous Bobby Orr "flys like Superman" shot after scoring the series winning goal in overtime game four. the odds say Bruins but BOTH teams have "bangers with skills" AND the two best goalies in the playoffs SO anything can happen. for my money I would wait until after game one and HOPE the team you like LOSES so you can get better odds. I myself will be pulling for the Blues to end 51 YEARS of Stanley Cup futility. they are the LAST of the 1968 "second six" teams to NOT win a Stanley Cup :shake:

Both teams should definitely be fresh and rested. That's a long break. If rask keeps it up, bruins might win pretty quickly.

Bruins in 4 games +1000 definitely worth a small "sprinkle" BUT "SWEEP" teams have LOST their next round during these playoffs. Bluejackets sweep the Presidents Trophy winning Lightning first round then loose in six (losing the last three games) to Bruins. Islanders sweep the Penguins first round THEN get swept by the Hurricanes second round THEN the Hurricanes in turn get swept by the Bruins Eastern Conference finals. WEIRD playoffs so far AND Binnington has been damn near as good as Rask

already line moves slightly toward Blues Wednesday PM May 22nd [ ] = opening lines

Heard some good advice on VSIN this morning. If you like the Bruins for the series, instead of laying the -160, lay the -120 (Bovada current) on Rask to win the Conn Smythe. He is so above & beyond in the odds that if B's win it would take a complete miracle for someone else on the team to get it. Their first line has been great but none of them have been playing head & shoulders above the rest. I feel if Bruins win, even if Rask has an average series he still gets it.

Hard not to like the B’s at home in game 1. I expect Rask to be sharp

Rask and the Bruins in general could have some "rust" from the long layoff after the Hurricanes series sweep. although the Bruins have played just two OT games these playoffs (games one and two of the Bluejackets series) and the Blues just three (one in each series including the game seven series winner vs Stars @ St Louis), with the two goalies I chanced the overtime? YES +300. also Jaden Schwartz goal? YES +210 (scored a goal in 8 of 19 games. 4 of 7 vs Stars & 2 of 6 vs Sharks) AND Vlad Tarasenko goal? YES +200 (scored a goal in 7 of 19 games. 2 of 7 vs Stars & 3 of 6 vs Sharks)

adjusted series odds after game one Bruins UP 1-0
Blues +240 @ Westgate +255 @ William-Hill
Bruins -300 @ Westgate -310 @ William -Hill

Lay it. Bruins looked so much the better team....that game couldve been 6-2 they way Boston dominated. As a Blues fan I think this is over in 5, 6 at the most.

I think before we all get TOO "worked up" over game one. we need to remember the Hosersharks SMOKED the Blues game one of that series 6-3 BUT Blues came back in game two 4-2. of course the Bruins are NOT the Sharks and Rask is NOT Martin Jones :(

Wednesday May 29th Game Two @ 5:05pm pacific
Blues +150 (-1 1/2 +400) total 5 1/2 +120
Bruins -165 (-1 1/2 +170) total 5 1/2 -140
1st period total 1 1/2 over +115 under -135

Rask Gave Up 2 Goals, Then 'Settled In'
You have a POSSIBLE MVP Goalie Here...
I HATE Juice...-300?!
I Just CAN'T!
Hope Blues Win Game 2, THEN, Bet Boston...
O.K. I Can See That...

Meant to come back on Boston -130 for the series before last night and forgot...now they're -340. Blues could win game 4 at home I suppose. Hope to see a better effort from them.
