One thing I generally play out of habit/superstition is when Team A (VaTech) opens as a fav and ends up being a dog. I'm a little scurrred of my Pitt bet as that line has swung greatly and there isn't any major injury news that has come out. Thankfully I got it early, but if I was looking at this now, I'd be looking at VaTech.

Northern Illinois -11
Known Lewis is out...and i had this at 15. Am I missing something here MAC guys?

Minnesota -12.5
This just screams Purdue cover. I may stay off completely as I think MN will win, but not any value at -450. Cobb will run all over Purdon't, but they are capable of scoring. P, if you're reading this I'd like your thoughts.

ADDED TOTALS
Minnesota UNDER 51
Louisville UNDER 51
New Mexico OVER 57
TAMU OVER 60
Michigan St UNDER 59.5

Just looking at some of the Miami OH scores - I think this line might be a little too inflated.

NIU is not the NIU of past seasons and I think people are still betting on them like they were the powerhouse from last season. This is coming from someone who has made quite a few dollars betting against them on some inflated lines (see last week vs CMU).

Miami OH seems to play everyone pretty tough: losing to Marshal by 2 scores, Buffalo by 8, Akron by 10, Cincy by 7, with only really getting blown out of the Michigan game.

Maybe NIU covers just saying NIU is not the offensive powerhouse they used to be and Miami OH seems to have a knack for covering the larger spreads this season. BOL!

appreciate the comments. it's not adding up...1st sign I should back off and not regret it if NIU wins.

Bjorks asking alot of a MN team that doesn't score a ton of points to cover -12 in my opinion. Also think you may be putting yourself in a tough spott trying to cover 13 points and stay under 51 witha purdue team who will put up double digits.

Beaver ball was doomed from the start with those junior high level WR's. Would've settled for a push at the end of regulation.
