5 Team ML parlay:

Memphis Grizzlies (-125), Golden State Warriors (-850), Cleveland Cavaliers (-2000), Orlando Magic (-850), Los Angeles Clippers ML (-600)

I just keep going over these things and can't see ANY of them losing...I'm a bit worried the Clippers might give up if they see the Warriors are up big...maybe 1st Half ML would be better? Thats what I'd like insight on...

Also, Cavs 1st Half ML is -550...do you think I'd be better adding that in there instead of the full game, cause -2000 doesn't really do much....

Here's the other two scenarios:

Scenario #2.) Warriors ML (-850), Clippers ML (-600), Magic ML (-850) Grizzlies ML (-125), Cavs 1ST HALF ML (-550)

Risking $1040.71 to win $2185.62




Scenario #3.) Warriors ML (-850), Magic ML (-850), Grizzlies ML (-125), Cavs ML (-2000)

This scenario does not have the Clippers ML and it's...

Risking $1040.71 to win $1416.27


SO what do you guys think? Scenario #1....#2....or #3...?

Or should I not do it at all!?!

My thoughts are "biggest play of your life" and "parlay" should not be in the same sentence. You're the guy that the govt uses as an example for why they want to put an end to online gambling. We know the real reasons why they want to do it but their cover is to protect people like you from themselves. I hope I've convinced you out of this.

That's what I'm thinking...if I take out Grizz and just do Cavs 1st Half, GSW, Magic, Clippers its about 1041 to win 700


But I'm also wondering what anyone thinks about Clippers 1st Half ML instead of the game...they might come out fired up and kill in the 1st half, then give up in the 2nd if they see GSW has the 8 seed locked up

I'd like some thoughts on that as well

Well...see...IF I do this and IF it loses, I'll still be up about $500 total since the start of 2007...I just went back and backtracked and calculated it...if it hits I'm up say around $3000...then I can withdraw most, and kick back and have fun with the rest during the NBA playoffs/rest of the MLB season, and if I lose w/e...I'll just stop until NCAA Football

It's pretty much a huge gamble that if I win I'll be estatic, if I lose I won't be that mad

I'm 99% sure I'll be doing it...I just need to figure out which one I'll be doing
 
There are 2 absolute lock winners: Cavs ML and Magic ML. I'd just try and find one more strong ML and play it. Doesn't matter if you are getting even money or paying 3-1. The other strong ML's available IMO are Jazz, Mavs, and (maybe) Warriors.
 
do a 3 teamer..for less. you saw what happened to my ass when I played the braves against chico on 1 play...imagine what a parlay does and think of all the times you were oh so close on a parlay and you hit 4 of 5 teams etc...it aint worth it brah.
 
I agree with believe, i would have a hard time fitting memphis into that parlay. You could substitute it with chicago because chicago knows what they have on the line tonight.

Well, I don't really want to touch Jazz or Mavs...I feel VERY strongly about the Warriors, and I really like the Grizz too (mainly cause it adds value)

What you think about Cleveland first half? I think they come out gunnin'


I COULD do what you said...Cavs 1st half ML, Magic ML and Golden State ML

But it'd only pay 1040.71 to win 495...which isn't worth the gamble to me

I'm just looking for one huge gamble honestly...I'm either up a bit or up a HUGE amount, feel me?

Honestly, call me crazy but I think the Nets take care of business tonight...aren't they playing for the 6 spot? I'm sure they want that...and I'm just not 100% impressed by this Bulls team (shocking I know)

I hear that the TWolves must lose and it reminds me of some games we made bank off of last year around this time

God damn...Grizzlies already went to -140

makes me feel that more confident bout em, but just lowered the parlay odds a couple hunny lol
 
If you can go multi-sports I think the Sabres at -190 are a good add. 3 teamer with ORL, GS and Sabres should pay about 10 to 9.
 
Would you really be ok with losing? Think about how much time and effort you spent in winning that. Now you are going to take it all and put it all on the line on a parlay? It's not smart money management man. It may work this time, but these type of plays do not work a large percentage of the time. There's always an upset that you don't see coming.
 
do not do this....

you wanna make a bet this large?...make it on a single play you feel THAT strong about...nothing wrong in stepping out on a play you love...this kind of a play can be found everyday...you went lookin for a big play, the guys who win consistantly are the ones that bet what comes...they dont force

imma sayin good luck however u play this but im not gonna say this is smart. i dont know what ur normal sized bet is, but think about how u would feel if ur biggest ever bet (ML Parlay) lost by 1 team. shit happens all tha time, nothin is 100% in gamblin, so why put urself at risk by goin wit ur biggest bet as a moneyline parlay? again good luck however u do it, jus sit back an think it over.
 
I agree with the guys here, don't do it for all the money you intended to put, there are and will be better plays than this. I don't mean necessarily tonight and I know if you feel the rush of being very confident about the games, but that rush will slowly turn into panic once one of your team is behind by 11 for example (not that I want you to go through that, it's just an example), and as soon as they slash it to 4-5, here's another team from your parlay mailing it in in the last minutes of 3rd quarter, while you thought they're up comfortably, they're suddenly up only by 5.

You can make this much money (3000) by doubling your dime twice, and you'll have MORE TIME TO THINK, you'll be more cautious, and probably pick a better bet.

Think about it bro. GL whatever you choose to do though. :cheers:
 
well just my fucking luck

i had 40.71 in my account so i went on www-card to buy 4 gift cards for 250 each

well i got one purchased, and then my 2nd attempt got declined so i called the bank and i only had 180 left for the day to spend (some stupid cap limit)

so i went and bought another for 175...and then www-card shit the bed! they said theyre having an error problem so i cant even deposit the 175


so i got 285.71 in my account, trying badly to get this extra 175 in

then ill just throw all 460 on parlay #1
 
Grizzlies may win tonight, in fact they probably will, but I'm not throwing $1,000 at them in a meaningless game.
