After some thought I decided I had to bet over in tomorrows game at Cubs. It was not available at the casino I am at. I checked Pinnacle and 5 dimes. Not up
Will bet it tomorrow, Look it over and I will give reasoning tomorrow
There may be a problem.I went over to Covers and Sundance was posting
Hendricks is 5-0 to the under since 217 after giving up 9 or more hits and gave examples
This is something but putting it mildly I have a Lot on my side I do not normally just pass on refs. Hendricks this year on 6+ rest 8.68 but it is about a 9.1 Inning sample
Flaherty on the road this year 11.57 road ERA 7 innings
Flaherty has seen the Cubs 3 times all 2018 DateOppositionScrLineW/LIPHRERSOBBHRPITP/IPG/F 09/30/18 @ CHC 5-10 141/8.5 L/O 2.2 4 4 4 3 3 0 59 22.1 0.00 07/20/18 @ CHC 18-5 119/11 W/O 5.0 2 1 1 9 4 1 110 22.0 1.50 06/17/18 CHC 5-0 106/8.5 W/U 5.0 2 0 0 7 3 0 97 19.4 2.00
This spot looks unlucky especially without his normal catcher
One thing Covers posts is that the Cards after after a loss are 6-2 over this season and these teams to put it mildly are not friends
The obvious fact is these are strong teams that are very willing to just get it on.
Any way I will bet some in the morning but wait on most of it on the ref
No idea how Flahertys games with the Cubs got scrambled
5 innings at home gave up 0
5 innings away game up 1
Last time he lasted 2.2 innings and gave up 4 runs
Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach MLB Game #901 Friday Free Pick OVER the total in Chicago Cubs vs St Louis Cardinals @ 2:20 ET - We're getting a very low total of 7 on this game because it will be a chilly afternoon in Chicago with the wind blowing in at Wrigley Field. However, there is only "so much" that the weather can help pitchers and the fact is I expect both these guys to get hit hard. The Cardinals Jack Flaherty is off a great start but it came at home. Note that his two prior starts saw him allow 9 earned runs in less than 9 innings of work. Also, on the season Flaherty has allowed 9 earned runs in just 7 innings spanning his two road starts. This does not bode well for him in terms of going on the road and facing a solid Cubs lineup. As for Chicago's Kyle Hendricks, he is facing a Cardinals team that has plenty of experience against him. St Louis has a number of hitters whom have fared very well against him. Also, Hendricks got rocked for 7 earned runs in just 5 innings in his most recent start. The past two seasons the over is 12-6-1 in the last 19 meetings between these teams at Wrigley Field. Look for their first meeting here this season to continue that trend. Free Pick OVER the total in the Chicago Cubs game in afternoon action Friday More Winning Picks from Scott Rickenbach
Basically what would keep it under is an ump to get Hendricks his corner strikes. When that happens Hendricks is pretty tough to beat. See what happens second time through the order though.
Trent Thornton looks hopeless. Not too bad on 4 but a 7.30 night ERA 18.1 innings
Minor looks perfect. Saying Toronto does not like llefties is an understatement 1.5 maybe 2.5
Yes! Absolutely! Imagine the advantage a team could get on the rest of the league if they actually used some strategy in these situations instead of blindly swinging for the fences every time. Drives me crazy.
