Atlanta Qualifying
Really don't know how qualifying is going to play out but thought these are worth a shot at plus money:
Kenseth over Kyle B. .1 = .1. L
Jr. over Truex .15 = .1575. L
-.25

Good Luck on your qualifying plays Bud :shake:

It will be interesting to see which teams have the best grasp on the " Low Downforce Package " that will be used.
This is where driving skills matter.

Good Luck , Bud
:shake:

I absolutely agree. As they continue to try to make the cars more "racier" and make it easier to pass, the best drivers will rise to the top of the pack. They are all so good there is not much separating 1 from 40, but a little thing here or there is all it takes.

Also interesting only 39 entries for a 40 car field

Just saw Kyle b time is disallowed because he failed post race inspection. Wonder if 5dimes gives me at least a push.

just got off live help with 5dimes and they said it would be changed to a win. nothing yet. if they do change it, I got lucky.

they switched it to a W. I guess this would be the opposite of a bad beat.
update with change
-.05 so far
Year Total +.5725

Looks like the gibbs cars will be the hard too beat in the xfinity. have to see what the odds look like.

'grats on the change to a win. So roughly 60% of the winners in the race historically start in the top 5? Will have to keep that in mind. Just hope I can find some time to get my match-ups in. My girlfriend is a "celebrity judge" at a bloody mary contest tomorrow morning so I'll be half in the bag by race time.

yea just short of 60% start in the top 5 and just short of 85% start in the top 10.
Kyle Busch might be an exception tomorrow, because he qualified #1 but was moved to the back because:
Kyle Busch's qualifying time disallowed: #18-Kyle Busch's pole-winning car failed post-qualifying technical inspection Friday night at Atlanta Motor Speedway, putting his brother Kurt Busch on the pole for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race. NASCAR said the degree to which the vertical angle of Kyle Busch's rear wheels were skewed -- called the toe -- was illegal but that there would be no further penalties other than disallowing his qualifying time. The defending Sprint Cup champion will start the Folds of Honor 500 last in the field at 39th.
NASCAR senior VP of competition Scott Miller said NASCAR began measuring rear toe after qualifying this season at the drivers' request. The maximum rear toe allowed in postqualifying inspection is 0.15 degrees more than in prequalifying inspection. "Teams asked for it, we instituted it and they didn't pass," Miller said. "The others [that went through tech] passed."
More rear skew could improve performance by helping maintain speed through corners, though Kyle Busch crew chief Adam Stevens said the thousands of an inch that the car was in violation wouldn't have made a difference. The car passed prequalifying tech, and Stevens seemed thankful the team learned its lesson instead of in a race, where they would have likely faced a fine and points penalty.
"The parts move, everything moves, so you expect it to be a little bit different," Stevens said. "This is the first opportunity we've had to gather post [qualifying] information, was right now, and it's game time and it was too much. ... Just the amount of load on the track moves everything a little bit, and that little bit was a little bit too much."(ESPN.com)(2-26-2016)

Kyle will be fast tomorrow!

Xfinity:
To win
Kyle .3 = .66
Erik Jones .05 = .25
Suarez .05 = .75
Figuring Kyle wins this thing, unless something weird happens (gets caught up in wreck, problems on pit road or becomes a fuel mileage race, etc.), but took the other gibbs cars for a small amount. They are starting 1, 2 & 3.
Harvick, Kez, Larson are probably the others that could challenge for the W.

Kez over Harvick .1 = .125 (Kez was faster than Harvick in every practice)
E. Jones over Menard .185 = .1 (Jones was 1, 2, 1 in three practices)
Suarez over Ty Dillon .145 = .1 (Suarez was 1 & 4 in the last 2 practices)
Sadler over Ty Dillon .05 = .0725 (This is just a bet against Ty and for Sadler)
Gaughan over Wallace Jr. .14 = .1 (Gaughan was faster than Wallace in all 3 practices)
Larson over Menard .17 = .1 (Just think Larson will be better than menard)

Crafton is obviously a big favorite. I think I'm in good shape as long as he doesn't win:prayer

Camping World Trucks:
Suarez .05 = .275.
Field .05 = .2875
Bell .05 = .375
Custer .05 = .55
Sauter .05 = .6

Custer over Reddick .135 = .1
All losers. - .385.
Got greedy! Thought I had winner when crafting wrecked and hill was leading w 4 or 5 to go. Oh well. Hopefully clears my head for Sunday.
Total + .9825

I took kenseth earlier at 8.5 to 1, should have waited now it’s at 9 to 1, Kurt at 16.5 to 1, I got the better of this one, it’s at 11 to1 now & Junior at 17 to 1, should have waited it’s now 20 to 1.

Atlanta to W .55 total on the line
Kurt B. .1 = 1.425 (added .05 at 12 to 1, on oddsmaker)
Junior .05 = .85
Kenseth .05 = .425
Harvick .05 = .275
Newman .05 = 2.25
Stenhouse .05 = 12.25
Kyle B. .05 = .4
Truex .05 = .8
McMurray .05 = 2
Field .05 = 1.25 (bet this for fun, have everyone but the 19listed below, oddsmaker)

Bet too many drivers again, but I think this think is prettyopen today. Hoping one of the longshotscome in.Some I even bet just to cut myloses if they win, i.e. Harvick & Kyle Busch.Edwards, JJ & A. Dillon are 3 that I don’thave that could cause me problems.
All bet at 5dimes, except the 2 mentioned above<o:p></o

Kurt over Junior .135 = .1
Elliott over Blaney .14 = .1
Stenhouse over his girlfriend .16 = .1
A Dillon over Elliott .12 = .1
A lot of chalk today!
Bet on 5dimes

The weekend started good with the xfinity race, but was bad news for the trucks and cup races.
On to Vegas baby!
