*Yordano Ventura looks like the future and the Rays haven't won at Kauffmann in forever, so I'll take a chance on the home dog for a change. As for Jose Quintana, I know we're not supposed to put too much stock into spring training numbers, but good grief: 11.0 IP, 18 H, 7 BB, 16.36 ERA, 2.27 WHIP (and as if to show that wasn't a fluke, gave up 5 runs in 6.0 IP in his season debut against the Twins (the Twins?)) Not sure Coors Field is the place to be turning things around...

*Looks like the Royals bats have picked it up a bit heading into Cleveland, which is a good thing considering they managed 3+ runs in 16 of the 19 meetings last season (including seven of the nine played at Progressive). As for the Indians, they've given up 3 or more in 12 of their 18 games this season, with Zach McAllister sporting some fairly rough numbers against the Royals in his career (17.2 IP, 16 H, 7 BB, 5.60 ERA, 1.30 WHIP). With any luck, that fourth run crosses the plate with time to spare.
