*I may have been a little pre-mature in calling an end to my regular season... Anyways, this seems like one of those 'close your eyes' and press "submit" type bets but, as bad as the Lakers defense has been, I only capped the Grizzlies at around 50.4 for the 1H, so might as well. Of course, Memphis could just as easily put up 70 (in which case I'll go back into hibernation and wonder why the hell I ever put faith (and money) in the Lakers), but I'll take my chances that the Grizzlies start slow out of the gate with Phoenix on deck tomorrow night.

*Sucker bet, maybe, but the game's played out the way I thought it would to this point (thank you Zach Randolph). Anyways, Grizzlies just killing them on the boards, and I'm sure they're getting an earful about stepping up the defensive intensity, so it might come down to free throws to seal the deal, but I think this is the proper call, win or lose (hopefully win ; )

*I don't know, but after watching the offense collapse against the Grizzlies last night, kind of hard to picture the Lakers doing enough on offense to get this over. On defense, ok that's a different matter altogether, but they each only average about 48 2H points scored their last 5 and home/away. Plus, most everything trended under for this game, so if the 2H stays under, the game stays under (flawed logic, I know, but that's me : )

*According to NBA.com, this game starts at 7:05 PM EST, so not sure why 5Dimes differs, but anyways...Both offenses putting up decent numbers as of late (Bulls 46.8 PF 1H Last 5, Bobcats 49.8 PF 1H Last 5), but when you take into account some of the crappier defenses they've been going up against during that stretch (CHI: MIN, DET, ORL; CHA: PHI, BOS, ORL), the numbers are obviously inflated a bit. As for H2H, the three 1H's this season wouldn't suggest a high scoring start to the game (78, 84, 94), nor would the three games last season (89, 89, 88). Throw in the fact that both teams are below the league average in terms of pace, below average in terms of 3's attempted (and % made), and match up reasonably well with one another (the Jefferson v. Noah matchup down low should take precious seconds off the clock), and this has all the makings of a slow down, grind it out, playoff type atmosphere to start the game. I capped it in the 87-89 range, so let's hope I'm right...
