All-Star Game Discussion Thread and In-Game

Pretty cool night for those of us Tigers fans.

The starting pitcher, several starters and then a bench position player and pitcher.

Despite that weird end to the week and first 4 game losing streak -- this is a night to be celebrated after a long stretch of down years.
 
Add in that the 3rd and 11th best hitters in the NL aren't even on the fucking team. And then some dipshit decided to put a guy who has pitched 5 games in the majors on the team and it quickly turns this thing into a joke.
 
Its a meaningless game and I don't know why anyone would care about who is or isn't playing. The last time I had any interest in watching was when I was a kid and it was an opportunity to see the one Brewers representative since my area was not wired for cable and I only got to see my team play when they played the Yankees. At least this is the one sport where the all star game is similar to a regular season game but I doubt I will even watch.
 
Took the 30 bux i made last night on the derby and played this little 3 teamer. Played at BetOnline and pays +173

All star game ov 5 runs
Caitlin clark ov 2.5 3pts made
Caitlin clark ov 14.5 points

First time i have wagered money on the wnba and i dont know how i feel about it. But, ill probably tune in now, lol.
 
I also like freeman and wilson to get a hit. Freeman moreso cause he should get an extra ab being 4th in the lineup. He could face Fried in 2nd inning if skubal goes 3 up 3 down. That would be a cool moment and im sure the announcers would play it up.

IM really high on wilson overall. He ahould get the 3rd nl pitcher which i cant get a great read on who it will be. Typically wilson, in most games, is over -275 to get a hit.

Each are +120 at bol. Just too hard to be sure who they are facing and how many times they will get to bat. Top of orders have usually got 3 and bottom 2. In most cases.

My only reservation about that WNBA portion of the parlay is a blowout.

The Sun are 3-18 this year.

Live line is -18 right now with the score 15-8.

Hopefully she gets this done quickly (if a blowout).
 
Over the last 12 years, the 3rd & 4th innings have been the lowest scoring out of any of the first 5 innings. Each have totaled only 10 runs, with the 3rd registering 8 scoreless ties, and the 4th registering 6 scoreless ties. The scoring in the 3rd has been so bad that 6 of those 10 runs came in last year's 3rd, which was tied 3-3.
