this is just unreal. Sadly, I don't think he'll get to 70 because he will just get walked 5 billion times. I hope they keep pitching to him though. At least through August. At this rate Bonds' all-time Hr record of 780 or whatever it might be will go down in 7-9 years.
I don't like his paycheck, or, really his attitude sometimes, but I would love to see that guy beat Bonds' single season HR record in the very year that Juicy breaks Aaron's record.
You're probably right. It's not like he's being protected by Ray Durham or Benito Santiago. I really wouldn't be surprised if they did pitch around him though. That 3-run walk-off had to get some managers thinking about it.
