Well maybe this why I shouldn’t start these threads, that didn’t come out right at all! :(

Have heard there's a chance Ross will be traded before tomorrow's game. Heard it yesterday so merely rumour, but beware.

fwiw
Chris Sale struck out the side in the first inning, giving him 200 K in 136 IP. That breaks the AL record of 141 1/3 IP to 200 K ... which Sale set last season.

Also he has 13.1 K's per 9 this season and may have a chance at the MLB record 13.4 k/9inn set in '01 by the Big Unit

FWIW, Kimbrel seems so hittable, yeah hes good but contactable, those 2 dingers by Bosox last night late were sick

Mookie is MVP period.

sev -450

only the 6th time in 10+ years any team over 400 fav... previous 5-0 fav won

I expect him to win but will not be involved. He has not been playing well but the game is important and he will try very hard but the ump could be bad for him. Moving along on another chalk I am not sure about Houston relief but think Verlander is hardly scratched. Rackley an extreme homer ump has done very well with Verlander last 2 games and Verlander on 6 to start with is almost a ghost.

severino -435

Crazy, I won’t even lay -150, lol., suppose the fact yanks had only lost 2 times in his 21 starts up until losing in Tampa on Monday justifies the number? Guess they now 19-3 in his starts I believe? And that loss on Monday was a terrible spot with them not arriving until morning cause the rain out on Sunday night.

I’ll take the +2.5 with the Royals at Even money any day. Worked out with the Twins yesterday. Pressing my luck..

Anyone else think capping games where both pitchers last start was against same team are a little tough?? I sure do..

Thinking Mikolas maybe with the advantage cause he was pulled early last game for a pitch hitter (thought it was terrible move at time but maybe cubs not getting another look at him thru order will serve him well here?). Quintana been pretty fantastic lately, poor numbers w Gibson but only cause of one bad start. Mikolas w better daytime numbers, both good against these lineups. Mikolas been a beast at Busch. Cards have a team obp of .360 since asb! I like FF under, game under, and cards ml.

Don’t like dreckmam for our over in coors and little skittish that Anderson has success when pitching for rox. The good (for over purposes). Neither pitcher misses bats, both allow upwards of 40% hard contact rates. Oakland has 2nd highest ops since asb, Rockies have 2nd highest ops bs lefties.

Yesterday Boston had a very weak lineup. I am ignorant in this area. Are we looking at another weak lineup today?

May be playing Tyson if he plays today vs Corbin
With ump Tyson 1.23 to Corbin 2.93
4 is bad for Corbin high 4
Now this season 5 is listed as bad for Ross but generally it is his best rest

Have straight bet on Trevor williams and first half bet on Ross as well as under in Pitt 4 minus I think minus 20 cents. Want Altuve to play so I can get friskt with Houston first 5 and parlay it ml with both starters plus 1.5 or at least Trevor

Real interest in Boston. Odorizzi very poor splits at night and on 5 anyone have good working knowledge about the Boston line up?

play on Nationals -150

hate laying this price but they have had the Marlins number this year, I'll bet it continues tonight
