The program I use has the Smoltz game at -110 so it only shows two. Too late now.

Interesting program you use............everyone else had Atlanta as a road favourite in NY 3 games ago. So NY only lost 2 at home as a home fav.

3 games ago............with HUDSON / MAINE pitching - not the SMOLTZ game.............
On AUG 11th - they lost as home favs of -166
On AUG 10th - they lost as home favs of -150
On Aug 9th - they lost as HOME DOGS

Sorry for the confusion, but now that I know where to watch for these instances I am hoping to be sure that I am getting this right.

the deal is that the Mets had to be favored by -110 or more in order to cancel their losses. The win that they had against the Braves while at home, they weren't favored by -110 or more. So, that win didn't count.

Sorry man - I still don't see the 3 losses as a home fav...........it looks like they are a home DOG from what you keep showing me and I thought the 3 losses at home had to be as a home FAV of -110 or more.

As you can see in the 5 games above, the Mets lost on 8/07 as a fave, won on 8/08 as a dog (doesn't count), lost on 8/09 as a dog (doesn't count), lost on 8/10 as a fave (2nd loss) and lost on 8/11 as a fave (third loss). The reason that the win on 8/08 doesn't count is because "vegas" didn't expect them to win. The whole purpose of the system is to play with "vegas". If "vegas" expects someone to win 3 times as a home fave of -110, doesn't have to be consecutive, and that team loses all three of those, then we will chase the next four games as a -110 home favorite. That is the reason that the Mets were on the clock for their 1st game as a favorite, but 4th overall.
