I think the Angels are the perfect team for Verlander to get his shit together, no real home run threat outside of Hunter. JV did not pitch that bad last week at Seattle, just had one bad inning, great stuff..actually had a perfect game going in 5th and then got rattled. I expect him to pitch well tomorrow...and the Tigers used there worst pen pitcher enough tonight..Lyons.

Saunders is a good pitcher and I don't underestimate him at all, he has pitched great against two teams that have always struggled with lefties Seattle and Oakland. Tigers are a decent lefty hitting club.

FYI, I will be betting on mostly Tiger games this year and only in situational spots.

agree 100%. in addition to hitting lefties well, tigers are rockin in game 2 of series and angels sucking in game 2.

I hope so fellas..I'm not saying verlander is "due" or anything, I don't really believe in things like that...but this is a good lineup for him to face to get out of the doldrums.
