STILL NOT the absolute WORST trade in NHL history. THAT honor goes to Blackhawks GM Tommy Ivan trading Phil Esposito, Freddy Stanfield and Ken Hodge to the Boston Bruins for Pit Martin, D-man Gilles Marotte and a box of donuts in 1967
"Espo", Freddy and Hodge went on the be stars in Boston on a multiple Stanley Cup team while the Blackhawks sank to the bottom of the league and pretty much never recovered until owner "Rocky" Wirtz took over from his cheap skate "squeezer" of a father Billy in 2007 and turned the franchise around winning three Stanley Cups in six season from 2010 thru 2015
