• Kitterage will pitch the 1st for Cubs today in an odd twist where the reliever starts the game and the presumably Imanaga will come on in the 2nd and go long. Kitterage pitched the 8th yesterday so this definitely shapes up as a rarity. I'm still backing the Cubs as the Pads seem to have lost all confidence over the least few weeks in addition to their 4-10 road playoff record since 2020.

The complete season was my best in the last 4 years and first profitable year in 3.



It wasn't without trials at I was down huge early. On May 2nd I was 262-289 and down 181 units!



I made over 10u that day and never looked back, going an impressive 1269-1128 for a plus 277.42 units the rest of the way, including the playoffs. That has to be one of the hottest 5 month sustained runs I've ever enjoyed unit-wise. I am retired now, so my plays are much more conservative dollar wise. I have always loved betting baseball, and it was my number one most profitable sport for many years. That made it very difficult to deal with 3 straight losing seasons, with the last 2 significant losers.

Also of note, the way I post at CTG has always been 4u posted equals 1u real action. I do that so as not to deal with fractions as much. Anyway, on the year I only really profited ~ 24 units and on my 5-month heater I made around 69u...not nearly as eye=popping but substantial considering the way I play with almost 3000 plays on the year. lol



Hoops starts tomorrow, although the way these players move around I'm at a loss for now. Football is fun, but the toughest sports I actually bet regularly. I gave up NBA years ago as it was worse, for me anyway. I actually feel like I have better than average chance of winning in MLB, hoops & UFC. NFL & CFB are more for entertainment and minimizing losses....
