Buffalo/New Jersey 1st period over 2 - 2.40
Buffalo/New Jersey 1st period over 2.5 - 3.50

will update my records after tonight's games.

Oct 08
Boston ML - 2.33
Boston/Florida Over 5.5 - 1.88
Chicago/Utah Over 6 - 1.93
Seattle/St.Louis Under 6 - 1.91

One of my favorite angles in any sport is fading the Champions, especially at home, on opening night. We get that tonight Florida and Boston, not to mention the bad blood between the two teams over their last two playoff series. Expecting Boston to jump on them early tonight. Hopefully 4-2? Swayman is not in, believe it's Korpisalo.

Not sure who did scheduling at the NHL, but a 1:30 local/4:30 EST kick off with Seattle and St.Louis as the first game? Played the under there, generally the first 2 months we see a ton of goals, just not loving how we're kicking things off here and questions around scoring for both teams.

Mrazek/Ingram are your starting goalies in Chicago and Utah...both these teams can score and going to be an electric night kicking it off for Utah

Opening night went as expected; knew we would see this Korpisalo eventually (he's always good for 3-4 goals a night) but didn't think it would be this early in the season. Max Jones accidently slashing a ref last night, will it have implications throughout the year for the B's? Love the rivalry that has become the B's and Panthers though. Fight fight fight fight

Chicago's PP looked sloppy and slow; no entry into the zone and were gliding in..theirplaymaking forwards are still in minors, another year away or so..Bedard's michigan attempt might have been cute but not a bad call given the lost stick, need more of these in the game to attract the younger crowds.

No comment other than doubling down on what a bunch of idiots the NHL for starting the NA schedule with Stl/Seattle before work ends across the country lol...

Will wait to see what the news is on goaltending in Toronto, Friedman reporting the leafs are taking Hildeby to MOntreal which might mean Woll or Stolarz is hurt?

Live: Calgary ML - 5.0

Great night yesterday, here are some of my thoughts from the games I watched. Calgary won't be nearly as bad as most think, they will let in goals and will be able to score some as well.

Vancouver needs Demko back quick, they can't outscore their opponents they just aren't built for it.

The longest active non-shutout streak ended with the start of Berube's tenure as coach lol...it will take some getting used to, but they aren't going to be winning games 5-2, 6-4; we saw first hand what Berube's style is with this team. You simulate that game 10 times, they win it 8 to 9 times. Also wtf was that opening ceremony?

Oct 21 - 17-19-1 +2.92

Toronto ML - 1.71
Oliver Ekman-Larsson over 0.5 PP points - 4.750
Nikita Kucherov over 1.5 points - 1.960
William Nylander over 3.5 sog - 1.90

Oct 22 - 19-22-1 +1.53

Frozen frenzy today, 16 games on tap!

Washington/Philadelphia Over 6 - 2.01
Toronto/Columbus under 6.5 - 2.04
Seattle/Colorado Over 6.5 - 1.94

Ross Colton over 3.5 SOGs - 3.15
Ross Colton Anytime Goal Scorer - 3.60

Toronto should be starting Woll tonight, his first start of the year coming off IR; leafs have typically been poor on B2B in the Keefe era but they haven't had a good tandem either in that time. Expecting a change with Berube at the helm here; a mature team keeps it simple and defensive and gets out with a 3-1 type win and would think that's what the coaching staff drives home.

Until Colorado shows improvement on their d and Gerogiev is playing the way he is, I will continue to play their overs even with all the missing players. Colton has been on fire for the Avs.
