Who's the ace? Quantrill is 9-0 with a 2.94 ERA L15(team record 14-1 +79.7% ROI)starts while Cole is 5-6 w/4.01 ERA in his L15(team 8-7 -18.8%). CLE has a better bullpen if only slightly and they can be prone to going to sleep offensively. There's lots of pressure on the Yanks while this Guardian team is so young...they don't know what pressure is. They are tops in two of my daily categories as well...best of the season @site on Tuesday at 8-4 +31.1% and also the most profitable of all teams today @site, going 47-35 +17.1% on the road this year. They've been red hot as well going 25-6 +40% overall since 9/5(best in the bigs)

CLE made the improbable comeback last night vs the Yankee pen, but it wasn’t even against closer Clay Holmes. Dumb ass Boone Boone inexplicitly opted to go with Clarke Schmidt, and that cooked the Yanks as well as my play(s). These Wild Card teams across the league are playing with fire and I see no reason CLE can't follow suit, esp at home. Quantrill may have struggled vs NYY on 10/5, but he's been much better @home all year w/3.28 ERA and really has something to prove tonight, like being the club ace! Cole has been stellar vs CLE, but the Guards specialize in winning low-scoring games with strong support from the pen. Low-scoring nail-biter 3-1 or something similar. Gonna take RL as well along with ML and under.

• Maybe NYY has the edge in starters tonight, but that may not matter, since I believe CLE wants to turn this into a bullpen game anyways. The pressure will be on NYY...even more at home and Boone's job is probably on the line as well. CLE is playing with house money since they were never expected to be here... they got nothing to lose and will play exceptionally loose. Far from a strong play, but I'll stick with the Guardians.

Over the last 10 years in a decisive 3rd, 4th or 7th game in the playoffs, the visitor is 32-15 SU for an amazing +45.9% ROI

The problem w that is Civale hasn’t pitched in weeks, had to mentally prepare last night, come down and get back up today, and guess when Civale at his worst? The 1st inning! His entire career his worst ops allowed the 1st, this season teams had a collective .879 ops off him in the 1st. Cle better be careful or they be in a big hole before then pen sees the mound! Of course I got no clue what Cortes will do on 3 days? And I do think once tribe pen takes over yanks prob won’t score much if at all so maybe tribe can claw their way back. I just think there a huge risk yanks score 3 of Civale before they can even get someone else warmed up!

HOU was 5-2 vs NYY this year and suddenly appears the team to beat...they have a much fresher bullpen plus they are rolling out Verlander, possibly the best starter in the bigs! NYY starts Taillon who wasn't even good enough to face CLE after the rainout. Hmmm. He got hit hard by HOU in June allowing 10 hits / 6 ER in 5.2 inn, and he has yet to start this postseason but he beat in Game 2 vs CLE last Friday, allowing 3 hits and 2 ER without logging an out. I don't expect NY has much left in the tank atm and probably won't be competitive tonight.

I was so pissed when judge whiffed on that hanging lollipop! But then civale went back to not being able to find the strike zone. By time stanton came up I felt like he was either gonna throw a get me over pitch that got rocked or he was just gonna walk stanton and we have bases juiced 1 out and him still struggling w control!! I love it when a plan comes together

I had a good day Sunday on the last day of the LCS's, but the series plays on the Pads drug me down. No way I can back Philly as they are the far inferior team. ...not just yet anyways because even after last night, I cannot see the Phillies beating HOU in a battle of pens very often. They do have their best starter going tonight and Wheeler has been money in the postseason allowing a mere 5 runs in 4 starts (25.1 inn) with a WHIP of 0.513 and 25-3 K to BB over them 4 games. But Framber is just as good and he's also been getting it done in two playoff starts- 2 wins, 12.2 inn, 4 runs, WHIP 0.868, and 15-3 K to BB. The biggest difference comes in the bullpen where the Astros at home in over 500 inn this year have an overall 2.13 ERA / 1.00 WHIP while PHI's pen has put up 4.13/1.370 overall and 4.60 / 1.490 away. Harper sparked their comeback and kept them believing last night. It was an awe-inspiring comeback. If somehow Philly manages a win tonight, they WILL most likely win the series, but when they lose... their talent will not be able to rekindle the magic vs this extremely talented HOU pitching staff.

Well, the Phillies have really shown up so far and they got excellent pitching last night. I do believe HOU is due for a breakout offensively. So with a fresh Javier and a well-rested pen, they should be set to tie the series tonight. The Astros have won the last 7 times Javier started and he allowed a total of 6 runs in 37.2 inn over them 7 games. In his last 5 starts/28.1 inn he has allowed ZERO runs!

Strong finish to my best season in the last 8. Worked out very well as I played more dogs this year than ever in the past. The playoffs were the only period during the season when my average line wagered went negative. The average was per bet and not weighted for the unit amount. Of not my average line started high and kept easing lower until AUG when I forced it back higher for my worse month. I think by August some of the shit teams are on cruise and not trying as hard. I did manage to adjust enough in Sept to profit after starting the month badly. All-in-all a great season and I'm sorry to see it end.​
