Which type of player are you?

Type A
  • Calm and collected throughout the week
  • Picking the right spots to engage in, knowing their strong suits in terms of how well they know the sports they bet on.
  • Remaining calm after losses and sticking to the ‘plan’
  • Probably doesn’t RAKE it in but has a nice steady betting pot over the year with some sweet cash withdrawals hitting your bank account.
Type B
  • Looks daily at the app they bet on for games that are on
  • Might place bets throughout the day on various sports they are familiar but also not afraid to give Women’s Curling a shot too.
  • Can be pulled into a chase which depletes their account but it’s only known to happen very rarely.
  • Like to think they are making big bank, but probably making less than type A, but having a shit ton more fun.
Type C
  • More than happy to look at ANY sport or market available to bet on.
  • Deposits $50-120, runs it up to $400, withdraws $280 and then loses the initial $120 trying to ‘play with profits’. However, this cautious strategy actually helps limit massive losses.
  • Has the best stories about bad beats because of the sheer ballsy-ness of their parlays and long shots. Career littered with ‘what ifs’
  • That being said, these boys occasionally hit HARD. Payouts anywhere between $5-6k on some shit you’d never dream of betting on.
Type D
  • Full on degen
  • Gamble till your account is empty and you can’t loan any more
  • Betting on Cockfighting out of Western Suriname at 3:30 in the morning.
  • Horses, slots, blackjack, roulette, virtual racing, handball, squash etc.. absolutely nothing is off limits to you.
  • Massive hits but it doesn’t matter because of all the losses you’ve accrued, you don’t gamble to win, you gamble for the thrill. I can’t say I can blame you for that either.
So..? Which one are you?

Easily closest to type A but I don't use offshore so no deposits or whatever

I trust me more than games of chance, fortunately over the years the degen stuff has passed but was definitely there. Maybe my doc figured it out with the meds lol

I'm mostly an A too, but do stray time to time when I just want action or go into "chase" mode

Was D for awhile now pretty B. Play good amount of Hold em. Same group of guys going on 15 yrs. I do pretty well there. If at casino will put in some crazy parlays just to see if they can hit, some do. Then usually at 3 handed BJ. Don't really drink much so will play poker late night or tourneys if not too pricy.

I know the feeling as I never do parlays or very rarely, except when at the casino...still holding this winner from last weekend ;)
It's a nearly hour drive to casino, but will get there maybe today

Do yourself a favor and never cash $5k or more, just break it up. That's the number that puts you in the spotlight. At $10k you're a walking dog

There is at least something to be said about betting sports, the dollar/minute entertainment value is much greater than say...a roulette wheel

I’m F.........all of the above
Started out D & B.....then C..........now more of an A........but occasionally F depending on mood.....

gotta give big shoutout to @big_units for his arbitrage thread and insights to me becoming A now........

was using his strategy on pregame plays and hitting quick a few middles last 3 months meanwhile rolling the bonuses at the same time.....

glad you were able to hit some middles...greatest thing about sports betting imo.

i'm curious...does anyone really enjoy losses in exchange for action? say you bet for a year, and your losses are minimal, say 5-10 units...while making thousands of bets on games you like to watch. is it worth it?
if i give up a small amount of juice on a game and it doesn't work out, i'm not happy i gave the book even $50. it's wasted time as well. i look at it similarly as losing a sporting event to an arch nemesis. it's fucking brutal. i can't think of one time i lost and had fun doing it.

I'm rather calm, but it takes a long way to become a professional. I started with articles from the tipsterstat telegram channel, and I'm watching myself progress, I'm betting less and less for fun. in addition to training, there are also reviews on cappers, bookmakers, in general, a useful resource for those who are tired of just playing on bets

A, B, C, & D...

No. Really...

All Of The Above...

"Might place bets throughout the day on various sports they are familiar but also not afraid to give Women’s Curling a shot too."

Sorry. No.
